💚 Raising a child should not mean a smaller pension in old age. Yet this is exactly the injustice that has arisen for some women who became mothers in 1991–1995. No social contributions were made for the period of child care, and today this is reflected in a smaller pension capital. Today the Saeima supported changes that will make it possible to correct this injustice — by making voluntary social contributions for this period, it will be possible to increase one's pension capital. Uzbeks who tortured a swan will have to leave Latvia! Remember the case in Carnikava that caused wide public resonance, where two citizens of Uzbekistan were tried for cruel treatment of a swan. On September 22, a convicting judgment came into force, by which the persons were found guilty of committing a crime. Today PMLP decided to annul their temporary residence permits, setting a seven-day deadline for them to leave Latvia. If they do not leave voluntarily, a forced removal procedure will be initiated.
