Every Saeima election is both an account of what has been done and a look to the future. I look back with satisfaction at what was achieved in the 14th Saeima. My experience has allowed me to achieve concrete results — less frequent vehicle technical inspections, fewer papers for entrepreneurs and fairer heating prices in Riga are concrete works and laws I have proposed and the Saeima has adopted. But alongside a deputy’s daily work there is also the big politics that determines the country’s development direction. For “New Unity” it is clear — Europe and its values, freedom, democracy and the rule of law. These are values that have brought prosperity to the Western civilized world and to Latvia as well. We often take it for granted, but it is not; it is tested every day, including in every Saeima election. Therefore close cooperation with allies in Europe and NATO is our highest priority. It provides both security and economic opportunities — they are our largest trading partners, to whom we sell goods and services, bringing money back to Latvia. We want to develop the country faster. We will be able to achieve this if society is healthy and educated, if human rights are respected, violence is eradicated and energy prices are lower. “New Unity” knows how to develop Latvia. We are not perfect. We make mistakes and learn. But we are politicians who genuinely care about Latvia’s future. Our duty is to offer a clear vision of a safe and developed society, and we know how to achieve it. Support New Unity in the 15th Saeima elections! List No. 9. 15966I wonder if there is any other country in the world where the foreign minister deliberately writes her colleague's, the interior minister's, surname with a lowercase letter in a public tweet? 🤦♂️ Come on, get a grip, the end is not far off…🤭 https://t.co/p20Dk7iweJ
From@Braze_Baiba@kasparsudritis @edgarsrinkevics Well, ask these questions to Dombrava - information, services, residence permit and its cancellation are all in his hands, because the Immigration Law stipulates it. Apparently more important to play politics a couple of days before elections.

@tomsneilands I didn't expect this from you. 2 of the 3 mentioned points are exactly ASL
From@tomsneilandsI'm leaving Latvia - most likely won't vote. I really wanted to get back my second pension pillar. To see measures for improving education and improving demographics. If I nevertheless ran across half of Germany, who would you recommend I vote for and why?

Coalition collapse and questionable opposition: what happened to the Progressives
From@ArtillerryDear @Braze_Baiba and @janisdombrava, consider this an application “from the people” — could you, please, stop “performing” on social media and simply both do what should have been done long ago: 1) revoke the residence permit (TUA) 2) include in the “non-grata” list. Because you, @Braze_Baiba, surely also know who Rogozin is? Or don't you? If you know, then where is your problem, please?

I recommend reading @Braze_Baiba & her team's annotation of the failure, as a result of which the prime minister had to "deal" overnight in her place the sanctions case with Ireland and France. @RaivisZeltits @JanisIesalnieks The Interior Minister has all the information, powers, competence, and will (hopefully). Why isn't he making a decision? Ask him.
From@RaivisZeltitsI wouldn't even have to defend a candidate or minister from another party, but this is a matter of state and on the merits. The Foreign Minister's decision on “persona non grata” is a fast process that lies exclusively within the Foreign Minister's competence. The Interior Minister has to carry out procedural steps and must receive an opinion from competent state institutions, which can also mean the decision being stalled at lower levels. If Dombrava is calling for a direct declaration of “non grata”, then I assume there is a basis for it. And that is your competence. It is a faster process. And this is a decisive time. If the occupier had not been toppled before the 2022 elections, it would still be standing, because afterwards there would not have been the necessary pressure from public opinion. It looks to me like delay over the chance to get rid of one walking occupier... If there is no result now, we will continue to bring shame on the state.

From@Krisjanis_KĻeoņiģiku @Braze_Baiba should not be put on the persona non grata list until a hint has been received from the Moscow masters. From@Braze_BaibaExactly, Rihard, is the @VL_TBLNNK Minister of the Interior, whose advisor you are, ready to make a decision rather than, in PRO style, shift responsibility to others? The Ministry of the Interior has the mandate, services, information. And on 16.09 my request to provide the necessary information. Go ahead, @RihardsKols, work.
