Look what you get, man, if you vote for your NATIONAL interests! And now imagine if there were such DOMBRAVAS not only in the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of the Interior, but also in foreign affairs, the economy, agriculture, transport, finance, and environmental and nature protection—and everyone would think NATIONALLY! How good would that be! https://t.co/fS3VwRb7Eb

Hello, hon. @AndrisKulbergs, why are the immigration restriction plans being stalled? What is the ideology of the United List—profit at any cost at the expense of Latvia's national identity and statehood? This is what the Latvian people should understand before the elections! #RunāLatviski https://t.co/3HT7kLcjuP

@didzisdejus @janisdombrava The obstacle is in the Saeima committees chaired by members of the United List. Amendments to the Immigration Law and the University Law, which would place strict restrictions on fake students and impose liability and penalties on universities that invite third-country students for violations, are being kept in drawers.

@BarsaSilis @VL_TBLNNK @IIndriksone @janisdombrava That party is not accountable to the Riga City Council for this area. Moreover, if we do not want SV and Stabilitāte in power, no other mathematical combinations are possible for now.

@EdvardsRatnieks @VL_TBLNNK @IIndriksone @janisdombrava Once again you speak beautifully, but at the same time you work together in the Riga City Council with a party that supports immigration and all sorts of idiocies.

Singapore runs the world's busiest container port without owning most of what makes it work. The Port of Singapore Authority privatized terminal operations in 1997, spinning off PSA International as a separate commercial entity. Berth allocations, crane scheduling, and labor contracts now live inside a profit-seeking firm rather than a bureaucratic committee. The result: throughput climbed from roughly 15 million TEUs in 1997 to over 39 million TEUs by 2025, handling cargo from 600 shipping lines connecting 120 countries. This is what deregulation produces when governments let it run. Prices coordinate decisions faster than any port authority directive. A private terminal operator that misallocates crane time loses money. A state operator that misallocates crane time comes to work tomorrow and misallocates more crane time, then writes a report about it and receives more taxpayer funding. Singapore did not fully privatize. The government retained ownership of PSA International through Temasek Holdings, which complicates the picture. You still pay indirectly for that political buffer when shipping rates absorb the inefficiencies state ownership injects into capital allocation decisions. Full private ownership, with genuine liability, sharpens incentives further than Temasek's arm's-length structure permits. Decentralize operational decisions to actors who bear financial consequences for bad choices, and throughput expands. Every port still run by a government ministry, from Los Angeles to Lagos to Cape Town, carries the proof in its congestion data. Singapore got close. Close still beats the alternative by forty million containers.

‼️ Again, migrant-based business is being lobbied behind the scenes, and again the adoption of anti-immigration decisions is being stalled both in the Cabinet of Ministers and in the Saeima! 🤯 This is already symptomatic! https://t.co/JPpiNMQylC

Amendments to the Immigration Law and the University Law, which would place strict restrictions on fake students and impose liability and penalties on universities that invite third-country students for violations, are being kept in drawers.

@didzisdejus @janisdombrava There you have it! The United List is delaying decision-making in the Saeima. For a long time already. And when asked to review it in a committee meeting so it could be supported at least in the first reading, Česlavs Batņa reportedly replied that no one will force him to do it.

@leoncodein But still, for the most part they have mobilized around Juļka. Either way, it must be admitted, and the high ratings are direct proof of that. The others are significantly less popular.

@MaratQasem It is somewhat positive, though, that the vatniks this time have not mobilized around a single party, so their calls to vote for those who most likely will not get in are even welcome. Yes, state funding after 2.5%, but at least less room for Juļka or Šlesers.

@MasterYodaMB @VL_TBLNNK @IIndriksone @janisdombrava There is currently no other mathematical option. If you can suggest one, I'd be glad to hear it. It is clear that they are not defenders of Latvianness in any way.

@EdvardsRatnieks @VL_TBLNNK @IIndriksone @janisdombrava Stop this right now, if you don't want to drive into a deeper hole! There are no more pro-Kremlin and greater saboteurs than the communist scum, the Progressives! ☝️
