Great Britain is one of the most striking and tragic examples of a policy that Latvia must under no circumstances repeat.
Years ago, they opened borders there to third-country immigrants, and today we see a clear scenario of displacement and destruction of the native population in action - hundreds of thousands of foreigners are "uncontrollably" pouring into the country, already awaited by earlier arrivals, step by step taking land away from local residents.
If we do not stop this process in Latvia immediately, the exact same fate awaits Latvians in their own homeland within the coming decades.
The "plan" for migration control offered by the interim government formed by @AndrisKulbergs, bowing before migrant lobbies, is not acceptable to us.
Crime has already increased in Latvia, and it has become more unsafe for our children and women. The politicians in power advertise themselves as brave with their "Plan", but in reality they are cowardly or deliberately manipulative. We can see this "plan" by looking 30 years back at many Western European countries. This is their "Plan". A plan that has long since failed and become dangerous.

A workplace without an available home is not yet a full opportunity to live in the region.
A new rental building with 30 apartments has been built in Smiltene, but around 50 applications were received. This clearly shows that demand in the regions is greater than supply.
This is not only a housing issue. It is also an economic problem.
A company can create new jobs, but it will struggle to attract employees if there are no quality, affordable rental apartments in the town. Schools, hospitals, the police and other public services face the same issue.
The Smiltene example shows a model that should be expanded across Latvia. The municipality provides land and the necessary infrastructure, the state and ALTUM offer long-term financing, and local businesses can get involved in housing construction where there is clear demand for workers.
I propose turning the low-rent housing programme into a permanent, long-term programme with predictable financing. Support should first go to municipalities where companies create jobs, but a lack of housing prevents people from moving there.
An available home in the region is not just social support. It is economic infrastructure, as necessary as a road, an electricity connection and the internet.
Life outside Riga must mean not only the opportunity to find a job, but also the opportunity to live close to it.

You fought for the influx of foreigners, not for Latvians' rights in their own country, you fought for the rights of 117 pansexuals to wave the Hamas flag at the Freedom Monument, you fought for the rights of a pig to be in the Daugava, you fought for flying in the most VIP zone while you flew out yourself! And now you have also flown down from your imaginary thrones and are afraid of reality!
Now all you have left is manipulation and frightening the people. And here I want to address everyone who is being frightened today! Do you really from your heart want to vote for those who are themselves afraid, or is your choice brave people?
