Reducing bureaucracy starts with a change in thinking and trust. The Ministry of Economics has already achieved a burden reduction of EUR 142 million. Today we added another EUR 0.4 million, allowing trading on one's own property without a municipal permit. It would be good if all ministers reduced the burden by an average of EUR 50 million within a year. https://t.co/SdSsY6UHt2

From@Latvian_MFADuring the UN General Assembly #UNGA81, Latvia highlighted the threats posed by the Belarusian regime at an international level to European and global security by initiating a ministerial-level discussion jointly organised by Latvia, the European Union, Estonia, Lithuania, Ireland, Sweden and Ukraine, entitled “Belarus: Accomplice in Russia's War Against Ukraine and a Threat to International Security”. Foreign Minister @Braze_Baiba called on countries to strengthen sanctions against Russia and Belarus and continue the international isolation of both countries. 🔗 Read more: https://t.co/s5wz4n5F1b 📸 Photo: MFA of Latvia

From@janisdombravaIt wasn't easy, but we did it! The comprehensive immigration restriction plan has been adopted! Work on the comprehensive immigration plan began already in the Saeima parliamentary investigation committee, where we identified problems in the migration system and prepared more than a hundred conclusions and recommendations. We continued this work at the Interior Ministry, turning the recommendations into concrete measures – from stricter control of legal migration and foreign students to more effective prevention of illegal migration, removal procedures and strengthening the capacity of internal affairs services. The review of the issue was postponed, there were objections and disagreements, but the most important thing is the result – the comprehensive immigration plan has been adopted! Now the most important thing is to ensure that the measures envisaged in the plan are also actually implemented.

@MGruskevics The question is why we are alone at this moment. Where has the work been? Where is coalition building? The Baltic states? The Nordic countries?

From@Krisjanis_KWow! Here you can see how @Braze_Baiba works 24x7h on delisting or de-listing (Endzelīn, don't nitpick!). Namely, comrade Braže has been influencing the bigwigs from such EU member states as Bangladesh, Egypt, Panama and even Kuwait over the last week!! So the Kremlin cuckoos @Lato_Lapsa and @JurgisLiepnieks can shut up - comrade Braže has done everything IN TIME so that the Kremlin oligarchs would stay on the EU list!!

@Arteiko @LV_visiem @ltvzinas @lsmlv @baibzuze @austsaule @JKP_partija In response to this loaded question, I won the state history Olympiad and accordingly got into a budget-funded place, later to teach history at school with this "hobby education".
From@Arteiko@RaivisZeltits @LV_visiem @ltvzinas @lsmlv @baibzuze @austsaule @JKP_partija Did you pay for your historian studies yourself, or did you use a budget-funded place (state money) for your hobby?

@Jaanis_Kuuka @ugisu Categories of rights are concepts invented by lawyers. You were saying earlier that if you want to be active in politics, you have to censor what you say. I am leaving ASL.
From@Jaanis_Kuuka@zuravlevs @ugisu That is not a "lawyers' concept", but a category of rights that also includes freedom of speech, which is in no way violated if a party decides not to associate with a person because of their statements. Then ASL will have a different Matīss Žuravļevs. 🙃

⚖️ The lawyer qualification exam must be demanding, fair, and just toward every student. The government has supported amendments prepared by the Ministry of Justice to the procedure for the unified state professional qualification exam for lawyers. They provide: 🔹 a clearer procedure for assessing possible academic integrity violations; 🔹 the right of a student to finish the exam even if suspicions of a violation have arisen during it; 🔹 the possibility to appeal the commission's decision to an appeals commission; 🔹 precise rules on the use of unauthorised aids and devices; 🔹 more flexible action in the event of technical disruptions, security threats, or other unforeseen circumstances. ℹ️ The amendments will enter into force in the general procedure. The new procedure for determining higher education institution representation will apply starting with the winter 2027 qualification exam. More: https://t.co/mSRk9ECNbe
