✅ During today's Saeima State Administration and Municipalities Committee meeting, I drew the attention of those present to the fact that the Vanšu Bridge reconstruction contractor SIA “Tilts” has so far widely used third-country labour. For example, it brought in many Uzbek citizens for the construction of the 4th stage of the Southern Bridge. ❗️One of Riga City Council's tasks will be to do everything to ensure that the reconstruction of the Vanšu Bridge does not cause a new influx of third-country citizens. #ImigrācijaiNēReimigrācijaiJā

The decision to reduce the fuel price by 20 cents is wrong in more ways than I have time to list; here are only the main ones. - In this way the government says that it takes responsibility for fluctuations in world market prices, making a promise for the future that will be impossible to keep, given demographic trends, etc. A problem has been created where there was none. - There is no purchasing power crisis in Latvia. Even three euros per litre would be a lower fuel price relative to incomes than it was in 2011–2013. The state needs to intervene when fundamental rights and basic needs are threatened. With a plausible ~5% inflation at the end of the year, overall purchasing power will be the same as it was at the end of last year. Only a temporary halt in purchasing power growth after a rapid rise in the previous three years is threatened. - A fiscally neutral reduction in fuel taxes is impossible. Rising import costs have already reduced consumer spending on other goods and hence tax revenues from them; moreover, the state itself is a large buyer of fuel. Higher VAT revenues due to rising fuel prices do not compensate for that. The budget deficit is already rather too large; there is no need to panic about it, but one must be careful. - Such a decision sends the wrong signal to car buyers, encouraging choices that will cost them more in the future, and will also hinder the achievement of climate policy goals, which in turn can cost the state dearly.

A great opportunity for Latvia to make history - due to the pre-election posing of the daughter of the secretary of the October district communist party @Braze_Baiba, soon all fascist Russian oligarchs and other scum can slip away, because the sanctions will simply expire.... Braže had many weeks to work behind the scenes - but no, she had to pose everywhere in ZS uniform, stand in @Jauna_Vienotiba pre-election tents, etc. The only thing she has truly managed is to put the prime minister @AndrisKulbergs and all of Latvia under threat....👿🤡

A brilliant political career for a guy... who struggles to read! This Somali, Mohamed Abdukardir Ali, has mobilized Somalis in Sweden and thus, with the help of personal votes/648 crosses, has been elected to the Swedish parliament. He has large debts to the Swedish Enforcement Authority and is unemployed. Swedish citizenship was granted to him 7 months ago during the "right-wing" wing government. You must be incredibly stupid to believe that he will represent Swedish interests in parliament. And he is "left-wing"! https://t.co/uGpUtmBbLv

Representatives of misandry (hatred of men) usually also advocate infanticide (killing of infants in mothers' wombs); perhaps correlations can be found in these expressions of social madness. https://t.co/z3D1OeMELM
