A candidate for the office of Prime Minister of Latvia must not have hundreds of thousands of euros of unclear origin from Russia. Jūlija Stepaņenko has declared monetary and real estate donations from her father living in Russia worth 419,598.05 euros, but refuses to explain the origin of the funds. Therefore, I have turned to KNAB, VDD, SAB, and FID, calling for verification of the origin of the funds, possible foreign influence, and whether the money was used to finance party activities or pre-election campaigning. If funding from Russia has been indirectly channeled to the party, there is also grounds to consider possible criminal liability. A person who aspires to lead the Latvian government must provide the public with clear and verifiable answers. Latvia's political independence and national security are not a private matter. There must be no unanswered questions here.
@Zmeycharauski @RicardsMiezitis @Progresivie I'm with you🤘🫶
From@Zmeycharauski@RicardsMiezitis @Progresivie Oh! And we also need to set price caps for sales. Let's regulate prices. Also for cars. I want to buy a somewhat old diesel, it would be nice if they don't ask more than 3k, otherwise it's still fascism. And eventually, price caps for cigarettes should have been in place long ago, otherwise there's no money left to pay for heating.

@UStrautmanis @edgarsj @RigasDome @EdvardsRatnieks @liana_langa As if we, especially Deniss Kļukins, who himself is a school director, follow, and especially being in opposition, but no complaints have been heard. If there are, send them.
From@UStrautmanis@edgarsj @RigasDome @EdvardsRatnieks Okay, I looked that in the RD education, sports, youth committee there are also socially active @liana_langa @E_Stendzenieks. I understand that maybe this is not exactly the competence of this committee, but it overlaps. Maybe it would be worth discussing this in the committee?

@MinnaBremze You are a victim of propaganda! In the Istanbul Convention, woman is defined by gender, not by sex. Prohibiting a transgender person from using the women's toilet would be discrimination against this "woman".
From@MinnaBremze@AndrisVelps I don't know whether such big fools should have been allowed to run to be a people's representative at all. Let's start with the fact that the Istanbul Convention does not in any way defend pedophiles.

My answer on what to do to reduce bureaucracy in the state apparatus https://t.co/1tuPES8UUq
From@tv24_lv“I want to weed out bureaucracy, but I cannot do it alone. In my daily Cabinet of Ministers meetings, my eyelids twitch and I want to cry, these meetings kill me, in which there is so much pollution with bureaucracy,” said Prime Minister @AndrisKulbergs @Apvienotais_, candidate for the 15th Saeima deputy position, on TV24’s program “Let’s Talk Openly!”.

Latvia's GDP is growing! We are in 2nd place in the European Union. https://t.co/pEgxYI7ps7
From@PStrautinsPassionately comparing the achievements of the Baltic states, it is important to note that Lithuania is by a large margin the first country in the EU with GDP per capita growth from 1995 to 2025. That is the longest period covered by Eurostat. You may name three times which country is second. Since Ireland's data can be safely ignored, because a large part of its GDP is US corporate tax avoidance schemes, there is a big gap between second place and the true third-place winner Poland.

@ansisklintsons Who is Jēkabs?
From@ansisklintsons@AlvisHermanis1 Ok, Pandora's box unboxing video, let's go. I won't start about May 9, Saskaņa, etc. Simply, when you have time, ask Jēkabs why it is necessary to criticize Latvian nationalism, why Russians are needed in government. And wait for an explanation, ok? Then look yourself in the mirror in the eyes.
