No stress. Driving exam at Afghanistan's CSDD. At least no data leaks! Because there are none. And if anyone thinks that in India and Pakistan these exams are much harder - I can reassure. There you still have to show how to press the warning signal on the invisible steering wheel in the middle, playing it with a somewhat open mouth cavity! And then those peppers come to us, and with such licenses they can drive for a year! For Central Asian men it's more difficult to get licenses, because in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan you must pay the mandatory baksheesh. The bigger and fatter the baksheesh - the bigger tonnage category. Everything is just logical. https://t.co/PicsfoDkpV

From January 1, Latvia will no longer have a public media in Russian. Today the responsible Saeima committee decided this, and the final decision must be made by the Saeima next Thursday. Content in Russian could only be produced in exceptional cases, and with this, an entire era will end. The division of society with state funds on the basis of language will be stopped. We will no longer use our own funds to create a parallel information space for Russian speakers, where completely different events are discussed. On the day the historic Constitutional Court ruling was adopted, court chairperson Irēna Kucina posted on Facebook that this ruling will henceforth be one of the fundamental rulings of Latvia's statehood. And that is exactly so. The Russian-language public media is a direct consequence of the occupation, and on January 1, 2027, it will finally be ended.

😱 That's not allowed - I hadn't yet recovered from the rye bread and BOLT studies. https://t.co/gPWqbr26NL

Are you asleep? While you sleep, we pay a third of a million euros a month to consultants for the Tet/LMT deal, which most likely will never happen because it's not needed. I congratulate all cancer patients and those who stand in line or die in line for state-funded medical services. I also congratulate teachers. All those who have no money - congratulations! https://t.co/JsJWnogJUU

During the 1991 barricades, Baiba Braže had recently started working in an organization closely linked to the former Soviet Komsomol. According to archival documents, on August 13, 1990, she became the head of the sector of the Youth Social-Economic Problems Department of the Central Committee of the Latvian Youth Progress Union (LJPS). LJPS was the successor to the Latvian Leninist Communist Youth Union (LĻKJS) of the occupation era, which assumed responsibility for all Komsomol activities during the Soviet occupation, and it pursued a left-wing political direction. This organization, led by Jānis Urbanovičs, maintained ties with the Communist Party of the Latvian SSR led by Alfrēds Rubiks, which opposed the restoration of independence. No direct information about Braže's personal involvement in the barricades has been found – there is no evidence that she participated on the side of the independence defenders, building barricades in Riga or defending strategic objects against OMON attacks. Instead, she continued working at LJPS, which was perceived in society as unpopular and associated with the communist past. Later, on November 8, 1991, she was appointed coordinator for international cooperation issues at LJPS and continued working at the organization until 1993. Some sources criticize this period in her biography as linked to a leftist, possibly pro-Soviet stance, which contrasts with her later career in NATO and Latvian foreign policy. However, it should be noted that earlier, on August 23, 1989, Braže participated in the Baltic Way action against the Soviet occupation, describing it as "electric" and an inspiring demonstration of freedom. This indicates her support for independence in the earlier period, but in 1990–1991 her activities were associated with LJPS. Later she denied ties with the Komsomol before LJPS, claiming she joined only after the LĻKJS was liquidated in Latvia.

One would think that the prestigious British publication 'The Times' nevertheless knows what 'Chapter 11' is and what it is that airBaltic is now doing. 'Fears of more airline failures as AirBaltic files for bankruptcy'. But do we still have to pretend to be fools? https://t.co/TfnZIz0mdx

Could it be that you evaluate all scenarios offered by AB's board, council, and government positively? Currently, the consultants' conclusion is that the 100-aircraft plan was ambitious but without logical economic justification. In my opinion, you also evaluated the 100-aircraft scenario positively, arguing that only by growing could the company repay loans. However, in fact, the larger the company, the lower the efficiency and profitability, which did not allow for positive cash flow even at reasonable loan interest rates. I can understand the motivation - to try at all costs to convince the public that AB is a company necessary for the Latvian economy, but if you evaluate all factors with rose-colored glasses, you lose your status as an expert who can provide an objective assessment of the situation.

I have long emphasized that airBaltic is a profitable company because its economical aircraft have a 7% lower cost per passenger-km than competitors, but a poor balance sheet with a wrong and expensive capital structure. I am pleased that the world's leading financial companies Morgan Stanley, Barclays, etc. have the same conclusion and they finance airBaltic. It is very good that the Kulberga government has brought airBaltic to a good financial interim solution and a quality insolvency process under US Chapter 11.

People won't like it, but here is an opportunity to automate communication. Also decision-making on certain issues, but for legally more complex ones, with a human as supervisor. In private companies, staff positions would be reduced. But here — no one will go and reduce their own electorate! https://t.co/lReZLNEK6F

I bet that the Komsomol girl @Braze_Baiba will not be able to muster the courage to put the Russian chump Ovechkin @ovi8 on Latvia's persona non grata list. And it's always like that if the Russian is even a bit significant Russian…. https://t.co/4fGGWRt8t8
