From@Krisjanis_KAbout the Komsomol girl @Braze_Baiba being in office, @edgarsrinkevics is fully responsible, who had every opportunity to get rid of this fool. But for some reason he didn't. And now let's imagine that this fool, in the post of foreign minister, tries to hold talks with the Trump administration in Washington…. It sends chills down your spine…😱😱😱

16495From@Krisjanis_K@jarinovska @tikums Yes, it is truly sad that we have a product of the foreign minister that is ready to wallow in the same ditch with representatives of Rosļikov's brothel, and whose greatest achievement is wearing ZS uniforms for self-glorification. And let's not even talk about the mobbing of @Arlietas employees…

From@TuksumszBrilliant. Simply brilliant. It's almost been a year since I've been shouting that trucks aren't controlled at all. That's crazy. These should be like in Germany, find them, put the driver in for two years and fine the company 50k https://t.co/y4rNoONMQb

@liana_langa @ALoshmanis I also unfortunately have such gloomy thoughts. Although I want to believe in the best, when there are too many coincidences, it starts to become a trend.
From@liana_langa@MaratQasem @ALoshmanis It seems that Latvia's 'frivolity' is actually Russia's influence.

From@MaratQasem🔥 While Europe argues about how to help the "good Russians", the FSB has long been embedded in this environment. 🤷🏻♂️ Today another story about why European countries should not import so-called "good Russians" in huge numbers. Bringing Russian "opposition" into the Western world is an old Chekist method. For Latvia, this is an unjustified taking on of security risks. ⚠️ At the end of August, former Pussy Riot member Rita Flores, real name Margarita Konovalova, said she had worked for the FSB for three years. In February 2023, she said she was tasked with writing character references for artists and activists. 😳 In the summer of 2025, according to her, curators asked her to lure Pyotr Verzilov to a café in Serbia to kidnap and kill him. 🗞️ Western newspapers saw Rita's human drama in this story. We, in turn, should think again: what percentage of those Russian opposition figures who have moved to the Baltic states are Kremlin special services employees? 🇪🇺 While Europe argued about helping "good Russians", the FSB had long been inside this environment. And admittedly — it is an old orc tradition. ❗️ Soviet security structures mastered this technique long before Putin was born. From 1921 to 1927, the GPU carried out Operation "Trust": a fake monarchist underground organization was created in the USSR, with whose help the Soviet regime took control of the White émigré community. 😵💫 Using this organization, Boris Savinkov and British intelligence agent Sidney Reilly were lured into Soviet territory. Both ended their earthly lives in Lubyanka. 🫡 Later the Chekists stopped waiting for the emigrant to come on his own. In January 1930, in Paris, communists in French police uniforms kidnapped the chairman of the General Union of Soldiers, General Kutepov. 🫣 In September of the same year, the same scheme was used against his successor — General Miller, a former resident of Dvinsk, now Daugavpils. Miller was drugged, shoved into a crate, taken by steamship "Maria Ulyanova" to the USSR, and shot in Moscow. ⚡️ And of course, the most famous Cold War example — Oleg Tumanov. Incidentally, he was married to a Latvian Jewish woman, Jeta Katz. In 1965, Oleg "jumped off a Soviet ship", passed Western security checks and worked for twenty years at Radio Liberty — up to the position of acting editor-in-chief. 📻 The radio's security service had no suspicions about him. In 1986, Tumanov was brought to Moscow and exposed the radio station as a "CIA branch". 🤔 Replace the monarchist with an anti-Putin artist and Radio Liberty with Riga Media Hub. You will see the method has not changed. 😱 Western countries fall into a moral trap: refusing asylum to a person with proof of persecution is politically and reputationally costly. Exactly "flight" has always been a convenient way to legalize an agent in a new territory. 🫵 The emigrant and "opposition" environment is a priority area of operational activity for Russian special services. It is almost impossible to verify a victim's legend from the outside: criminal cases and "foreign agent" status can be produced by the FSB on a conveyor belt. 🇩🇪 For Germany, a mistake in one or two cases is unpleasant. For Latvia, it is a breach in the security perimeter. The risks are known to all: we are a country occupied by the USSR for half a century; a country with a large Russian community; we are the external border of the EU and NATO; aid to Ukraine is delivered through our territory. 🤯 After 2022, Riga received a huge number of Russian journalists and activists, even a whole Media Hub was formed. But let us not forget that compassion for specific persecuted people does not obligate us to import all the others, the unverifiable risks. ❓ What do you think: does the desire to help Russian oppositionists outweigh the security risks such help may create?

From@liana_langaLet's remember the high-profile admission of 300 Russian journalists for "humanitarian reasons" - that was handled by Gunta Sloga and Sabīne Sīle, Rinkēvičs supported it. @Valsts_drosiba advised against it and warned, but was not listened to. Draw your own conclusions!

From@ArtursButans❗️In 2025, Atis Švinka was a minister in the government who supported changes to exam rules 4 days(!) before the exam. Now Atis Švinka and the Progressives accuse the @VL_TBLNNK minister of pushing changes 10 months before the exam. This isn't populism, is it? #politika #Saeima

From@RKruminIn Latvia, the time has finally come when in the regular elections the voter does not have to choose the lesser evil, but has the opportunity to choose the greatest benefit – for the people, the state, and personally, by choosing the ASL economic doubling plan and a professional team to implement it.
