⚖️ Judges' time should be devoted to examining cases, not to unnecessary bureaucracy! Riga City Court is the largest and busiest first-instance court in Latvia. Every year it examines and processes: 🔹 approximately 10,000 civil cases 🔹 more than 2,000 criminal cases 🔹 more than 125,000 undisputed civil cases and land registry cases 🔹 and thousands of other matters. Such a workload requires practical solutions. Therefore, we must: ✅ accelerate the automation of standardisable and technical processes ✅ purposefully introduce artificial intelligence solutions ✅ reduce bureaucracy in the daily work of judges and court staff ✅ strengthen human resources and legal support for judges. Technology must make court work easier while preserving human control and all legal protection guarantees. Today we discussed these practical solutions at Riga City Court together with the court president Anda Briede and her deputies. The goal is clear – a faster, high-quality and predictable court process that protects people's rights and strengthens trust in the rule of law.

From@kSukevicsIn the German city of Nuremberg, two Syrians (aged 16 and 18) have been arrested for raping a 14-year-old girl so brutally that the girl had to stay in hospital. But the story does not end there. For months, German police have been searching for people who distribute drugs and strong medications near Nuremberg's central station, making victims (girls) addicted to them in order to later demand sexual services from them. The victimized girls come from disadvantaged families. In this context, German police are searching for/have detained 18 migrants, mostly from Syria, North Africa, and Pakistan. Recently, a 29-year-old Palestinian was also arrested, at whose home were found prescribed strong drugs (Pregabalin), which were also used to drug the girls. Such stories have to be read almost every day. I do not want such conditions ever to exist in Latvia, so both legal and illegal migration must be restricted to the maximum.

This week, KNL Kulbergs, making excuses for why nothing has been done in the budget, among other things, said that he had to spend 30% of his time saving AirBaltic and that it had succeeded. Now we learn that this success involves borrowing at 25% per year, which is no longer even a quick loan, but some kind of grave robbing. Moreover, the tax money allocated by the Saeima will now go to paying interest to some representatives of this 'smart money'. I hope to hear @AndrisKulbergs explanation today about this great plan. Saving a company that cannot repay a 14.5% loan by giving it a new one at 25% sounds really interesting.
Kulbergs' government's first 100 days are contradictory, but the overall direction is positive, says political scientist Rosenvalds (3)
Latvia's GDP per capita at purchasing power parity is currently 71% of the EU average. Estonia reached this level in 2011, and Lithuania in 2012. https://t.co/MD5e2Q73Cv

What is known about the volunteer from Latvia who fell in Ukraine? Will 'New Unity' recover? Public attack: Kulbergs vs. Dombrava. These current topics are discussed in the new 'Šķiltava' by 'Ir' journalists Agnese Meiere, @raudseps and @AivarsOzo. 🔗 https://t.co/dzZ5yHCv0R https://t.co/t4XShxUXGP
I personally don't have such conviction. But here it is - as long as one lends and the other borrows, what's my part? Even at 1000%.
From@Krisjanis_KReally, question to economist @guntarsv - if the office cannot pay on time for a 14.5% loan, where does the conviction come from that it will be able to pay for a 25% loan??🤔 https://t.co/AWN6CuKmIU

@lifesound22 @E_Stendzenieks There it's like through the clouds (because planes also fly in clouds). At first they publicly said that 225 million is needed, now they will borrow up to 257, I've heard even larger sums. The rich don't count money 🤡
From@lifesound22@guntarsv @E_Stendzenieks How much should be planned between funding to cover?

From@guntarsv@E_Stendzenieks Let them borrow. That is not Latvian taxpayers' money. Principally, the only thing that interests me is, I quote: 'The planned interim financing does not depend on Latvia's state financial participation'.

Kulbergs, Vītols, and Kučinskis' new, great airBaltic business plan: borrowing at 14.5% per year was bad, so now we'll borrow at 25% per year. And shut up, dimwits, you understand nothing!
With which I also congratulate https://t.co/I1uasY4dCR

@IvarsAuzins Great, good to know as well that in fact nothing has changed since Vaškevics times. At least then there were more border checkpoints, including Silene. I will mention just one small detail, that we have border control which by definition should be dealing with, among other things, combating smuggling..
From@IvarsAuzins@Chapis Everything correct. Contrabass is BY exports, covered by the regime. That we have known for already 20 years.

In Latvia, many areas are tragically bad, but I strongly doubt it's so bad that you couldn't write down on a piece of paper the names of a hundred people who, without any preparation and without knowledge, could host the LTV debates a hundred times better than Guntis Bojārs did yesterday. I would even say — in any party's office you could find people who could be less engaged in these debates than Bojārs was. And most importantly — whose interests? Whose society's order were we enjoying yesterday? Would it be the LAMPA audience, whose main goal is to publicly make politicians look like idiots? Bojārs isn't even fully a Progressive, or at least he successfully masked it with equally childish nitpicking at Švinks. Bojārs yesterday simply behaved like an uneducated philistine who asks "On what date will you stop beating your wife?" and then panickedly tries to bring the respondent back to the question when they stubbornly refuse to give a specific date. Why is he even meddling in politics if the arbitrarily drawn visions of previous politicians are immutable tasks for future politicians, as it manifested in the hysteria over the green course question? Daunis Auers the day before yesterday on "What's Happening in Latvia" correctly said about all those visions for 2050 — if there is such a clear plan of what future politicians must do, then why have elections? Get out of that sick leftism. In four weeks we have elections where you can vote to throw all your studied development plans into the trash. Help the voter choose who will lead the country where. Don't explain ahead of time who will execute your sandbox plan. Bojārs doesn't even have the slightest sense of right-wing politics, where the question of wind energy share could be unanswerable. Yes, the politicians were too weak to explain it to him clearly, but the whole of Latvia cannot devote an entire evening to enlightening a crazed TV star and educating him on everything he's behind on.

From@Krisjanis_KAn incomprehensible obsession with “golden visas” seems to prevent @Apvienotais_ @MGruskevics @didzisdejus from hearing the real and respectable opinions of many other entrepreneurs. In one sentence in politically incorrect light language - Latvia, where white people dominate, is capable of attracting many more wealthy Europeans as tax residents than those Russian-speakers with “golden visas”. I suggest talking to wealthy French or Belgian Jews, for example. They don’t need “multiculturalism”, they are already fleeing from it. And everything can be ruined irreversibly quickly - look at what the reds in Portugal did with migration in just 7 years…. So today I wish you a lot of common sense during the migration meeting!😉👌🏻
