To help voters make a critical and informed choice in the 15th Saeima elections, Latvian Television offers a series of programs 'Party in Focus' that will provide a comprehensive insight into party programs and their offerings. Based on SKDS public opinion survey data, the series will feature political forces that have reached at least 2% support in early August. The first episode focuses on the party 'We Change the Rules'. #IzvēliesLatvijasNākotni #Vēlēšanas2026 https://t.co/N4bmi3UN3R

Today others also learned that Kulberg will never go against reducing bureaucracy and against restricting immigration (see Kulberg's video No. 68). Because the LDDK/LTRK (from where he entered politics) business and university lobby has already brought those migrants here. He may be a good blogger and, as a car salesman, has well polished the art of fooling people, but he is unfit for the job of prime minister. It is month 3 and not a single (!) thing has been done. Rinkevičs knew well that by choosing this empty talker, three hares would be shot at once: the old governance order preserved, a second term guaranteed for himself, and the gullible part of the Latvian people fed an illusion of grand reforms until 3 Oct.

This is a modern "scientist's" communication in the public space in a communist spirit - who is not with us (migrant importers, destroyers of Latvia), that one is against us! Well, and then the Putin card is pulled out manipulatively, crudely and deeply dishonestly... Such crude manipulation cannot withstand any criticism. Mārtiņš Hiršs is not to be taken seriously. It was not Mārtiņš Hiršs who was hunted by the Kremlin special services' project "Baltic Antifascists," but Iesalnieks, Kalvis, Langa and other nationalists. You have no moral right to pose as an arbiter!

@Zaklina2022 He'll wear out by the elections. Džeks has so far only experienced noname -> rising -> beloved, but hasn't experienced criticized -> hated. With that combination of ego and personality traits...

It seems that after the latest ratings, someone has simply, as they say, gotten a big head. The government declaration must be implemented by advancing, correcting the state of affairs, or communicating with one's ministers, not by writing long TikTok videos in which epithets are already directed at Siliņa. Pity.

Only peace. By tomorrow, the real beneficiaries will have communicated and passed instructions to their subordinates.

After today, I have only one question. With whom will AS form a coalition if NA is excluded? Both parties were my candidates in the elections. Now I no longer know...🤷‍♂️

As @ArtursButans said, NA has come to this coalition to work, and restricting immigration is one of NA's priorities. “That is why we also ensured that it is enshrined both in the government declaration and in the action plan,” Butāns said. “Now such sudden emotional objections make one think of narrow economic group interests or individual politicians' unwillingness to implement the action plan, which is unacceptable to us, so we will ask the prime minister for explanations,” Butāns said. https://t.co/Inr8OEQOMJ

The Prime Minister complains that approvals are missing. Whose duty is it, if not the Prime Minister's, to ensure that the government's work moves forward? The Prime Minister is not a clerk whose job is to note that a paper is missing from some file. The Prime Minister leads the government, convenes ministers, resolves disagreements and achieves decisions. The government declaration states in black and white: restrict the issuing of long-term visas and residence permits, set the permissible number of third-country nationals and close schemes for legalising economic immigrants. Mr Prime Minister, you did not stop the 'theatre'. You yourself stalled the implementation of your own government declaration. When Interior Minister @janisdombrava has submitted concrete proposals, the Prime Minister does not organise their review and make a decision, but publicly announces that approvals are missing, and calls the work done a 'theatrical fight' and 'dull voter fishing'. Open tunnels on the border. Raids are taking place. Immigration control is being stepped up. Quotas for third-country nationals are being prepared, stricter requirements for foreign students and universities, control over employment intermediaries and liability for residence rule violations. Where exactly is the theatre here? When the Prime Minister and the Interior Minister toured the border and stood in front of cameras, that was obviously statesmanship. When uncomfortable decisions have to be made and powerful economic interests opposed, it suddenly becomes 'hysteria'. That's where the story about procedure ends. In one hand @AndrisKulbergs holds the government declaration promising to restrict the issuing of long-term visas and residence permits. In the other hand he holds proposals to keep investor temporary residence permits, the so-called 'golden visas'. The immigration restriction plan still needs at least 14 more approvals. The 'golden visa' idea apparently only needs an investment fund brochure and promises of rich sheikhs. Latvia does not need an immigration policy in which security solutions can be postponed while residence permits can again be turned into a commodity. Latvia does not need a system in which the interests of universities, labour intermediaries and various investment schemes matter more than the state's ability to control who enters Latvia, why they stay here and what they do here. If the Prime Minister objects to specific points of the plan, he should simply say so. If corrections are needed, they should be made. If ministries cannot agree, the Prime Minister should sit them at one table and reach a decision. That is exactly what the Prime Minister is paid for. Not for videos in which he publicly scolds his government's ministers and explains to the public why the government cannot do its own job. Restricting immigration is not theatre. The theatre begins when the Prime Minister promises one thing, brakes another and pushes a third.

RailBaltica: a 10 billion loan would cost about 35 million per billion, i.e. 350 million each year, maintenance about 300 million each year. We have neither 10 billion nor 650 million each year. Already spent about 1.5 billion + we will pay 500 million in fines, and we FORGET, right @AndrisKulbergs? When will @prokuratura_LV arrest the Unity board, private jet passengers and all the briskeni with shvinkas and linkaiši? When? https://t.co/TqiUa0lCQQ

Poor old man forgot to add at the end - and please buy my book! Today at half price, tomorrow even cheaper! https://t.co/akzwuphZbA

J. Dombrava is currently doing the same thing as the PM - working through social media to reach his audience. Procedures and truthfulness of statements are of secondary importance. Dombrava's audience will like the proposals and he will be in the next Saeima, thanks to them, not the PM. https://t.co/ujMYoXjkPT

❗️Jānis Dombrava's immigration restriction plan was not supported for advancement to the Cabinet of Ministers. Therefore, it is important to support the minister in his position on a stricter immigration policy and Latvia's security. I invite you to participate in the picket against the demand for resignation. https://t.co/jPR3Pka1qX

Twitter is a gift from God for a politician. Everyone can, undisturbed, present their thoughts and deeds as they wish. But sometimes it is also a problem – people learn your thoughts and deeds.

Someone take away Kulbergs' Twitter! No time to fool around during work hours! The Prime Minister should work, not make a fool of himself on social media.

“A petulant kindergartner” – that’s how Kulbergs publicly called Dombrava. JV rubs their hands. They claim to be the only adults in that kindergarten 😀. Only where have they disappeared. But what does Viktors think on Knowledge Day about this wonderful kindergarten group and the teacher’s work with the group’s children. Maybe it’s time to call a pedagogical council meeting? Because the group’s parents’ WhatsApp chat is already lighting up...

☝️ There will be an opportunity to replace heating boilers. ✅ Support for honorary families increased from 70% to 85% ✅ Support also for replacing wood or pellet boilers with heat pumps, new pellet boilers, or solar collector systems. ✅ When installing a new device, there will be no need to give up the existing one. https://t.co/Bo741RBA2K

@hansa_lv or not?

Continuing like this, in November the prime minister will be either Kučinskis or the AS will lose the prime minister altogether and it will become someone from the smaller factions (for example, LA, if it enters the Saeima).

@Borovkovs @mmn @LatvijasTV Our party's account is @partijaMMN

A moment of reflection after yesterday's presentation of the @MMN leaders on @LatvijasTV - Choose Latvia's future! Party in focus – 'We change the rules'. Yes, an application with the beginnings of ideology. That's good. At the level of a political embryo, and nothing more, unfortunately. Apologies, @JazepsBasko, with your axe-like arrogance - 'as the founder of the party', 'we with @AlvisHermanis1 are the main ones and decide everything', but the others... well, just incidental extras. One of those cases when a person is right until they open their mouth and start talking. The show hosts are atypical for @LatvijasTV - very tolerant, allowing everyone who had something to say to express themselves... Ideologically, I am definitely 100% - for this political platform. MMN - there are many good, educated people, but, unfortunately, unfortunately... completely unprepared to take power. Regional leaders cannot have a stance like 'when we get in, we'll see then'.... Disappointment. #politisks_embrijs

Thoughts were about one thing - with whom will AS form the government after October 3? That will decide everything - also how we will stop the inflow of migrants into Latvia. https://t.co/SEXac0teiA
