The plan has been developed based on the conclusions made by the Saeima parliamentary investigative committee on immigration issues. It was previously led by Dombrava, and its final report included approximately 100 recommendations for improving immigration policy and its control, the minister's adviser Marija Luīze Ratniece informed LETA agency https://t.co/XRSYrTiUwn

@MarijaLuize @NormundsKuplens @janisdombrava Once they threw Dombrava under the tank over that letter to Spain...which turned out to be just a letter and the Spaniards didn't care one way or the other. Now objections to defending one's own land from crowds of migrants. Has anything else happened? ...but, well, the direction is visible, that's enough☝️

They are trying to slow down the Immigration Limitation Plan. I don't like long, pointless discussions, but action. Fulfilling the government declaration and staying within deadlines, I had submitted a comprehensive immigration restriction plan to be adopted already tomorrow at the Cabinet of Ministers meeting. Despite the fact that the deadline was September 1, at the coalition meeting there was stalling and various fabricated arguments were found to postpone the adoption of the plan. This week the government will not review the Immigration Limitation Plan. But I will not stop - I will insist that the Action Coalition must show action and the plan must be adopted!

SIF audit shows the need for effective reform and depoliticization of the fund. The Ministry of Culture has prepared an informative report 'On proposals for improving the operation of the Society Integration Foundation' and, together with the conclusions gathered in the audit and working group on possible future models of SIF, will submit proposals for further action to the government. In my view, in order to lean towards one of the solutions currently offered by the audit and working group, the risks, impact and effectiveness of these proposals should be assessed. And only then, through broader discussion, a specific decision can be made. More here: https://t.co/bvMEqCysA1

They don't need to understand; such calls are a classic Bolshevik approach. Smash, fundamentally change the rules and start living a 'new, happy life'.

When on @LTV1 Partija fokusā MMN someone says that with a general purge in the state administration the positions of managers and their deputies will have to be eliminated, then I have to ask how much someone there not only knows, but UNDERSTANDS, both the meaning of those positions, the reasons why there are many, and how many functions each mentioned state institution consists of….

“In order not to raise taxes, money must be found in the state administration. [..] The largest share of redundant positions is at the level of directors and managers of directors. This means that the real workers – those who do the practical work – are proportionally even fewer than general directors, directors, and deputy directors. Therefore, by reducing these positions, we can achieve significant savings. We have calculated that in total it is half a billion euros per year that we could save if we immediately launched a reform, reorganization in 127 institutions simultaneously, reducing the number of positions,” said Solvita Gulbe (MMN) on the program “Party in Focus”. #IzvēliesLatvijasNākotni #Vēlēšanas2026

“This organization [MMN] is in principle created to change the electoral system. Everything else comes with it, that is what has grown around it – both the right-wing view, and the general purge of [state administration] and everything else. But this organization is fundamentally created for changing the electoral system – if compromises are needed, they will probably be accepted to solve this fundamental problem of Latvia,” said Grigorijs Rozentāls (MMN) in the program “Party in Focus”.

“It is possible to assign National Defense Service youth to border duty. [..] The basic training course in the National Defense Service currently requires only a third of the total time a young person spends in it. [..] Three months are needed to complete the training, after which they can be used for combat tasks – one of which is guarding the border. We save money, we pay them anyway,” said Edvarts Krusts (MMN) in the program “Party in Focus” about guarding the eastern border.

@akberzins I want to read this plan. I'm more interested in the quota part. How many quotas will there be? Will you share a link where I can read it?

💪 Finally we have an Interior Minister who actually solves immigration problems. This plan needs to be moved forward. https://t.co/RPlQeAXe4h

Again. Dear parents, please hide your children's - aged 18+ and above - passports until Oct 4. It won't be hard, because they even at 30 years old live with you, but at your expense. They want to rule the world under the PRO flag.

Surnames in the studio!!! If the saboteurs of Dombrava's migration restriction plan are not published, they will be elected to the next Saeima and "everything will start from the beginning"... https://t.co/ylOFrhx4LS
