I have a concrete proposal regarding the CSDD data leak. No compensation is needed, nor are forms and bureaucratic red tape. What is needed is to provide individuals with a single 'button' on the latvija.lv portal. It would be called - I want to change my personal code. Then you are informed where you can receive all related documents for free. Passport, eID, etc. The state has all the registries and knows the types of documents.

After the CSDD data leak, the directorate has received around 2,000 incident-related submissions, including compensation claims. Ready-made submission templates have also been circulated on social media. CSDD, however, urges not to rush to demand compensation and to wait for the results of the Data State Inspectorate's investigation. Meanwhile, people are currently making little use of the opportunity to change, for example, car license plates after the incident. 🖥️ https://t.co/GnHdujV0Zt

🙈 The stubborn stupidity of @KNABinforme lawyers in denying @NEPLPadome's chairperson and deputy the right to vote on their own confirmation shows that KNAB's acting head Ineta Cīrule should not be allowed anywhere near the competition for the head position. And I absolutely cannot understand why my colleague @LatvijaPirmaja council deputy Kļukins allows the Corruption Bureau to mock his deputy duties and accepts the illegally imposed punishment. It is also comical that KNAB accuses Kļukins of abstaining in the vote and says he should not have voted at all. By abstaining, Kļukins actually voted against his own appointment. If a deputy does not participate in the vote, the quorum required for a positive vote decreases. Thus, in essence, KNAB suggested to Kļukins to facilitate his own becoming a school director. #CirvjiNeJuristi https://t.co/f7o0GotlMz

SIF audit shows the need for effective reform and depoliticization of the fund. The Ministry of Culture has prepared an informative report 'On proposals for improving the operation of the Society Integration Foundation' and, together with the conclusions gathered in the audit and working group on possible future models of SIF, will submit proposals for further action to the government. In my view, in order to lean towards one of the solutions currently offered by the audit and working group, the risks, impact and effectiveness of these proposals should be assessed. And only then, through broader discussion, a specific decision can be made. More here: https://t.co/bvMEqCysA1

They are trying to slow down the Immigration Limitation Plan. I don't like long, pointless discussions, but action. Fulfilling the government declaration and staying within deadlines, I had submitted a comprehensive immigration restriction plan to be adopted already tomorrow at the Cabinet of Ministers meeting. Despite the fact that the deadline was September 1, at the coalition meeting there was stalling and various fabricated arguments were found to postpone the adoption of the plan. This week the government will not review the Immigration Limitation Plan. But I will not stop - I will insist that the Action Coalition must show action and the plan must be adopted!

🎓 Patriotism, continuous growth and perseverance – three values I wish every young lawyer to take with them! Addressing the graduates of the master's program at the University of Latvia's Faculty of Law, I also returned to the place where my own journey as a lawyer once began. Today, the legal profession is rapidly changing due to technology and artificial intelligence. That is why lawyers must be even smarter, more creative and more humane, while maintaining a firm foundation of values and a readiness to defend Latvia. At the Ministry of Justice, we are also working to make the path to professional growth for young lawyers faster and clearer – both in the bar and in the courts. I wish that in ten, twenty or thirty years, the names of today's graduates will also be among Latvia's most outstanding personalities. Good luck! 🎓🇱🇻

Where in this understanding of rule of law will the children beaten to death by drunk parents fit? Will Švinka measure whether it was a son or daughter who was beaten and then decide the sentence? If the mother did the beating, will there be mitigating circumstances? Western feminism has come to this. Marxists do not have one law and one justice for all, but different laws for each social group depending on the 'degree of oppression'. Švinka should have added that in cases where a woman kills an immigrant in self-defense, the woman will have even heavier responsibility because she has killed someone even more 'oppressed'. But the harshest punishment will be for those who offend black transgender people. All in line with the spirit of the Istanbul Convention, but with no connection to reality, where the majority of crimes are committed by drunk degenerates. P.S. So that I am not accused of not taking the murder of women seriously enough, I have not changed my private position on the necessity of the death penalty for cruel murders. Regardless of gender and color.

📈 Latvia's economy is growing – in the second quarter growth reached 3%! These results are not a story of one month's or one quarter's luck. Growth was facilitated by decisions made during the @EvikaSilina government to attract investment, promote lending, and reduce bureaucracy. https://t.co/I1sF6nKZQK

You have typically progressive thinking. Dehumanization is one of the classic concepts that progressives run around with. The fact that you defend migrants shows that you are a supporter of progressives.

@zuravlevs @saatciane @miks_eu If a neighbor beats his wife, am I guilty or the neighbor? I mean, it's weird that you're attributing to me the sins of strangers whom I neither know nor have met. 🤣

@rol7676 @janisdombrava Even legal migrants are essentially illegal in Latvia — Latvia was founded for Latvians, not for any people, and Latvians have never said they want to live with Indians or Uzbeks.

@janisdombrava If a foreigner is here legally, why restrict his right to be employed? But if illegally, why is he here at all? Illegal migration, of course, should be combated, but it shouldn't be turned into a witch hunt. Causes are important, not consequences.

We are advancing a comprehensive immigration restriction plan❗️ Based on the on the recommendations of the Saeima parliamentary investigation committee and fulfilling what is set out in the the government declaration, I am submitting for consideration the comprehensive immigration restriction plan prepared by the Ministry of the Interior. The plan provides for: 🔹 quotas for third-country nationals; 🔹 strict requirements for foreign students and universities; 🔹 restrictions on the employment of foreigners and the operation of courier services; 🔹 stricter control of asylum seekers and regular raids; 🔹 National Defense Service in the State Border Guard. We must not allow immigrants from other regions of the world to replace our nation. A strict immigration policy is a matter of the long-term existence of a national state.

@insomniaanna @saatciane @miks_eu I am completely uninterested in the concept of dehumanization while progressives call nationalists animals and do not allow Latvians to live in Latvia undisturbed by other nations.

@zuravlevs @saatciane @miks_eu While you speculate which concepts are 'progressive' or not, I suggest you familiarize yourself with the concept of dehumanization more broadly, as well as its history. https://t.co/2T3CCu37g9
