On the party's first anniversary, we laid flowers at the monument of our independence fighter Gunārs Astra, whose defiance and Latvian self-respect in the darkest times is an example for every nationalist. https://t.co/gfUt5gB79c

In Latvia 🇱🇻 there is a very low level of trust in political parties. The last time it was measured (this spring), only 13% of the population trusted parties. #MēsMaināmNoteikumus so that people can vote for individuals they trust the most, rather than party lists 📄 with 'locomotives' 🚂 and 'passengers' 💺

Apart from being a day of celebration of the Ukraine State Flag Day, today is also a day to remember a shameful date in European history. On August 23, 1939, Nazi Germany and Stalin’s regime in Moscow signed the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact. Behind the façade of “non-aggression” lay secret protocols dividing Europe into spheres of influence — with sovereign nations treated as mere objects on a map. Days later, Hitler invaded Poland from the West. On September 17, Stalin invaded from the East. And on September 22, German and Soviet troops held a joint military parade in Brest to celebrate the conquest of Poland. The footage is attached. Today, Russians proudly proclaim: “Можем повторить” — “We can do it again.” The rhetoric, the imperial ambitions, the denial of other nations’ right to exist, the attempt to redraw borders by force - the historical parallels are becoming increasingly difficult to ignore. The question is not whether Russia can repeat 1939. The question is whether the rest of Europe will allow it to.

Just a crazy idea, but maybe if all the messengers hadn't been shot, someone would have brought the news and prevented the biggest cybersecurity disaster in Latvia's history. But cases are being brought against IT specialists, not against the bosses, who care more that no one is considered smarter than they are. https://t.co/584LrgpnHi

This week we simplified tree cutting procedures, reducing the number of cases where a municipal permit is needed. 🌳 Cutting down dead and dangerous trees is now much easier. From now on, before cutting, the tree must be photographed from at least three viewpoints and the municipality must be informed. 🌲 The photos must reflect that the tree is dead or that its damage poses a threat to infrastructure, human health, life, or property. For landowners, these reliefs will overall save more than half a million euros, not counting the time spent on dealing with formalities. https://t.co/AOZlk2mun6

Listen, smarty! Today is Sunday after all, and any minister, in his free time from strategic decisions, can help saw branches if he wants. But you, of course, can go to the forest and glue those sawn branches back together!

As far as I'm concerned, they can also saw. But in any crisis situation certain principles must be observed. Politicians do not carry out operational activities (including consequence-elimination work), and operational workers do not make political decisions. In this emergency situation Dombrava mixed up his d*ck with his finger. That simple.

🇱🇻 What is the National Guard base? Belonging, knowledge, strength and preparedness for the task, that's how the National Guard commander, Brigadier General Aivars Krjukovs, describes it. The commander says that at the base a guard first gains belonging to their unit, then knowledge through the training system and strength through equipment and the collective. The history of the National Guard is also preserved there, from the first commanders and guards to today. The National Guard celebrates its 35th anniversary today. Thank you to everyone who has shaped it since the first day 🫶🏻 #Zemessardzei35 🎥 - Cpl. R.R.Putnis

@Dzintarz this one seems entirely devoted to the Baltics and Poland.

Wasn't that a warning to the Kremlin not even to think about using nuclear weapons?

Next week I will turn to KNAB and VDD with a submission against several characters who deliberately spread disinformation against LPV and me, Ainārs Šlesers! This is yet another defamation campaign using FAKE images and VIDEOS created with artificial intelligence. I want to remind everyone again that one day before the previous Saeima elections, fake information was spread that Šlesers receives two million from Putin every year! I want to remind everyone that I personally turned to KNAB, VDD, SAB and the General Prosecutor's Office to initiate criminal proceedings for defamation and influencing the Saeima election results. As a result of the defamation campaign, LPV lost at least five Saeima deputy mandates. Criminal proceedings were initiated and an investigation took place. After two years of investigation, I received a letter from KNAB stating that the criminal proceedings were terminated because Šlesers has not received money from Putin!

Today, the APVIENOTAIS SARAKSTS Latgale team visited Organic Products in Ludza – a place where the local, self-grown and self-made is not just a story, but also very tangible. The scent of herbs, teas and spices fills the entire space. This is a story about choosing to stay in one's native region, taking over the parents' farm and step by step building one's own business. From sheep farming to vegetable growing, but today already to a self-created product line – dried herbs and spice blends, berry and vegetable powders and teas. Of course, we did not leave empty-handed – we also bought their products. It is a joy to see that quality and interesting products are being made right here in Latgale and that people choose to invest their knowledge, work and energy in their native region. #APVIENOTAISSARAKSTS #MumsIrRisinājums #KulbergsIrRisinājums #LatvijaMumsIrRisinājums #LatgaleMumsIrRisinājums #Ludza #Latgale #RažotsLatvijā #7Saraksts #SaeimasVēlēšanas2026
