A clear NO to expanding the 'golden visa' program. At a time when other European Union countries are reviewing their residence permit programs and the security situation demands particular caution, Latvia has no reason to ease or expand the 'golden visa' conditions. https://t.co/GGdvKN21HA

16826@gatisliepin What is the name of that party that brought down the government because of Rinkēvičs' ambitions and pulled back into the government (!!!) the pocket party of the oligarch, the collaborator Lemberga, who is on the Magnitsky list? I very much hope and expect an honest answer. Will there be?
From@gatisliepinReturn of the oligarch era. Kulbergs after the 15th Saeima elections is ready to form a coalition with Šlesers. So, by voting for Kulbergs and the United List, you are also voting for pulling Šlesers into the government and providing him with real power.

Here is ZZS's broader view on why the hospital reform is the biggest mistake of Kulbergs' government and should be changed. https://t.co/iBIPFkGHif

He was asked a specific question - what were the prime minister and ministers doing at a campaign event on a workday? At a time when they were supposed to be performing the exact duties for which they receive a salary and other state resources. And please, Žaklīn, don't beat around the bush. A specific situation, a specific question @AndrisKulbergs - a clear, comprehensive and honest answer. Without dodging, manipulative blame-shifting, vulgarly answering a question with a counter-question, and other usual tricks.
From@Zaklina2022@Atiskrauze73 @OttoOzols @AndrisKulbergs Nobody says you can't criticize, but picking on such a social media post is strange. Especially if that 'journalist' also picks on it. I see a lot of very good in him and also not so much, but.. only those who do nothing make no mistakes.

📚 New Unity does not support the hasty decisions of the Minister of Education and Science @IIndriksone, which have been insufficiently discussed with school principals, teachers, and cooperation partners. Such an approach lowers the bar for the quality of education and weakens the role of the Latvian language in education. In education policy, one must not follow the principle 'we do it quickly and then we'll see what comes out'. Every change affects children, teachers, school principals, and families, so they must be balanced, justified, and discussed in a timely manner with the sector.
From@Ivars_Abolins@curiha Because you have no ideas how to integrate non-Latvians, we'll simply drive them into the Russian-language information space. We'll Russify them. Rarely have I read something so immoral. The occupation era when Russification was held in esteem will never return. Don't even hope.

My two cents. Likewise, Dombrovskis, Kleinbergs, and Staķis are not running in the elections, whose faces were widely used. I wouldn't be surprised if Zīle also pops up somewhere, sometime. They don't seem to have leaders… https://t.co/edn3THPUUX

From@rokpelnis_harisWe have talked to almost all regional hospitals - the hospital network reform pushed through the government in a rush is the biggest mistake of this government so far. We prepared a comprehensive alternative proposal, today I will present it to the coalition, I hope colleagues will admit the mistake and be ready to fix it.

Kulbergs names political forces with which he categorically rejects cooperation.
@curiha Uzbeks usually come for a while to work, and there is absolutely no need to integrate them, but all those who really want to integrate here must learn Latvian, because successful integration should end with obtaining citizenship. Period.
From@curihaOk, integrating on the basis of the Russian language is not acceptable. How will we integrate Uzbeks who don't know either English or Latvian? Ukrainians who don't know English? Of course, in the end they learn about events in Latvia from Russian-language media, and we can only hope that those media are tvnet or delfi https://t.co/HhtFO5aqCS

From@atis_svinkaTomorrow, August 11, the closed part of the government meeting will consider a draft order on co-financing for SIA 'Airline Company Liepāja'. The Liepāja airport, in addition to its own revenues, is already currently funded by the Liepāja municipality, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development (AiM) and the Ministry of Transport (SM). Could @AndrisKulbergs and Defense Minister R. Melnis provide clarification: - How much additional funding is planned to be reallocated to Liepāja airport from the defense budget? - Can Ventspils airport, ports, military mobility transport infrastructure objects (e.g., Jēkabpils bridge), as well as border-area media and associations also count on similar support? - Is this decision also related to the recent Friday 'working visit' to Liepāja? There is no doubt that a sustainable financing model for Liepāja airport must be found. At the same time, dispel concerns that this is not a continuation of the model of supporting one's own, but that defense resources are available to all Latvian regions and for strengthening defense resilience.

From@suvajevsSuch a prime minister's response marks the next coalition that everyone is already talking about behind the scenes: AS, NA, LPV. So much in common - denunciation of the Istanbul Convention, support for quick loans, golden visas and deforestation. And now they will jointly fight against that 'European influence'. https://t.co/xpa427EoGa

From@katrinailjinskaOn remote work. First, it's interesting that the Prime Minister now has to talk about something that was theoretically solved almost two years ago. Everyone certainly remembers that it was almost Raivis Kronbergs' first job - he tasked everyone with developing a procedure for how to control all this. For example, in the Cabinet itself there is a rule that allows 2 days of remote work per week... Here will be a small piece from @Inc_Latvija's first club event, where @AndrisKulbergs says that out of 14 PR specialists working in the State Chancellery, he has seen four in two months! Four, Karl!😠 Maybe the presentations wouldn't be "crap and manure" if at least some of the employees could go over them in time, identify shortcomings, delve into them and fix them? And don't tell me that this work can be done productively remotely in circumstances where the Prime Minister and also the other ministers have every minute planned and you literally have to walk after them to catch and ask something if needed. Or are chats and emails just as productive and fast as a face-to-face brainstorm? Part of the quote: "I am fascinated by the issue of remote work in the state administration. It is misunderstood. There are 14 PR experts in the State Chancellery. We have met four in two months. Today you can go to the 4th floor and the wind is whistling there. I think this is a heavily misunderstood issue where I want to say 'Enough.'" https://t.co/KB8lluZc39

No, that is the model of supporting one's own people practiced in the 90s. In my time as Minister of Transport, some had such a desire. The votes of individual ZZS deputies supporting the opposition's proposed resignations clearly marked that.
From@anonimizetsIf you write 'continued model of supporting one's own people,' did this practice start during your time as Minister of Transport? 🙈

I'm sure that all of China's network 'little shits' send data to China https://t.co/IcsFZH25iG
From@visegrad24🇬🇧 The UK Ministry of Defence has launched an emergency security response after discovering that Chinese-made cameras on the Royal Navy’s K3 Scout drones were secretly transmitting data to an IP address in China. The 27-foot, £12 million uncrewed vessels are used by Royal Marines and special forces. Cyber assessments found the cameras sending unauthorized “heartbeat” signals. The MoD has cut all internet connectivity from the cameras and says there is no evidence sensitive data was compromised.

No, Žaklīna, in this case it's not about my modest personality. It's about the fact that prime ministers and governments change, but the shameless theft of state resources continues. And clinical arrogance just the same. Now let's see - @AndrisKulbergs will be brave enough to confess or, in the 'best' traditions, will start bending and finding culprits outside - @ivchix, journalists, foreign agents, spies, and tooth fairies.
From@Zaklina2022@OttoOzols @AndrisKulbergs You yourself, Mārtiņ, have self-control problems. :)) Finally one politician is not detached from the people. What then, Leitāns is some sacred cow who cannot be addressed personally? Or is the prime minister from a special caste for us. Especially sic networks.
