AS has won in all electoral districts, except in Latgale, where LPV won. Rejecting the presence of Latgale’s winner in the government, while at the same time agreeing to work together with JV, is pushing away and alienating Latgale’s voters. https://t.co/HbrbZN90Vg

After the big victory, Kulbergs reveals whether he will join one of the AS parties

The voter said clearly: @AndrisKulbergs and AS have 41 mandates, New Unity 7. Taking JV back into government is like appointing the same arsonist as chief architect after a fire, and then giving him the keys to the new safe in the name of stability. 41 seats is a historic credit of trust for change, not a resuscitation of old coalition arithmetic. Giving ministries to a party with 7 deputies turns 41 mandates into an expensive decoration. Next time, the voter will throw such a compromise in the trash. 15 years of lagging behind our neighbors is not a mystical natural phenomenon. It is concrete policy, permit jungles, tax experiments, and state-owned company monopolies that strangle local business. By seating the guilty at the table, Kulbergs turns from a reformer into an accomplice of the system. Unity's real ideology is not liberalism, but the apparatus, capacity-building projects, endless strategies, and absorbing EU funds for nothing. Let them back in, and every idea to eliminate redundant state positions will end with the creation of a new department for reducing the state. State debt of 22.6 billion, interest payments devouring the budget, but the old coalition school knows only one trick: borrow more. The habit of calling a deficit a smart investment will brake any real turnaround. Taxes will remain, debt will grow, and the entrepreneur will still submit three certificates to buy one screw. Classic parasitism of power: when growth again lags behind Vilnius and Tallinn, JV will announce that Kulbergs is too radical. When bureaucracy does not shrink, that the coalition consensus must be respected; in the end, the voter will send the bill for stagnation to the one who had 41 votes, not to the seven backstage conductors. Foreign and local capital does not watch pretty press conferences; it watches who sits at the decision-making table. If the party that lost three-quarters of its mandates again oversees finance or justice, no one will believe that the rules of the game have really changed. This time the voter gave the problem exactly 7 votes. Taking it back to the table is not statesmanship; it is capitulation before the battle begins. The mandate was given to weed out the weeds, not to water them again and call it national unity.

Public participation and some democratic processes apparently interest the Progressives' Riga City Council only when it is necessary to convene pickets about noise and conventions. On the other hand, if there is a possibility that someone will ask uncomfortable questions about possible conflicts of interest, justifications, squandering of money, then the procedure is different. So on Friday, 2 October, before the elections, the chair of the Outdoor Space and Mobility Committee, Marta Kotello, convened a meeting... setting the meeting date for the next working day, i.e. 5 October, but when industry associations nevertheless did not miss it and themselves applied to participate in the meeting, they were refused the right to speak at it. That, you see, is democracy. https://t.co/cvSjnuJiS5

Kulbergs: All models, including a minority government, are possible (1)

🇱🇻 The fact that an unlawful coup is taking place today allows me for the first time to speak out: I can finally say why @Broks was betrayed! And why the board did not consist of Hermanis, Broks, Krusts! That day, when I saw Hermanis abandoning Broks, I wrote to Pucens that we should manage a reconciliation. But I did not know that Baško had already called Pucens behind my back and staged a revolution! Broks is NOT an agent. People started fighting over money as if over a barn trough. But they gnawed us down from a top force to a splinter party! My hope that they would at least lead the force ended with Baško later unilaterally breaking off talks with ASL, picking off leaders, consolidating power, sucking up to the most naive members and intriguing, hammering the last nails into the coffin. They calculated that state funding gives more than MP salaries. Today's revolution began because at the board elections I proposed a plan that would revive MMN, including resuming talks with ASL and others to create a real force. My plan would not allow them to continue plundering the treasury.

🇱🇻⚠️In connection with my statement that I am running for the MMN board elections and realizing that I have an absolute majority, Baško today begins the expulsion of me and a large number of Republic members. Nobody agree to the exclusion! There will be long lawsuits! State funding only causes very funny things. More information will follow soon in the comments section of this post.

KPV - 2. In all its glory. Mr. Hermanis should henceforth focus on what he knows how to do. https://t.co/jf1pd4U1Hb

The elections are over, but the cops’, prosecutors’ and courts’ racket is in its place. I can already promise that a book about inventor Skuruls’s solitary fight against the racket will be a bombshell. It never occurred to me that something like this could happen in this country. The facts mentioned in this request and convincingly pointing to document forgery in Ruka and Grišins’ police force are just a trifle. https://t.co/4HMiAECN4t

Thank you to everyone who went to the elections and made their choice. 💚 I also greatly appreciate the support given to the @Jauna_Vienotiba team. And the belief in what we can do together for Latvia. This trust is not only an assessment of the work done so far. It is a responsibility for what we will do next. For the opportunity for people to build a better life right here in Latvia, for our children and a secure Latvia. If @Jauna_Vienotiba is invited to the negotiation table on forming the next government, I will openly tell how the talks are going and what tasks we are agreeing on. And I also want to hear you – what you expect from us and what, in your view, in Latvia needs to be changed and done better. This trust must not be taken for granted. It must be justified with work.

Well, briefly, let me also say something about the past elections. In my view, a convincing mandate for change has been given. Latvijas attīstībai was also convinced of this and clearly stated that Latvia must no longer be governed politically as before - constantly borrowing for government spending, not fighting the bureaucracy entrenched in everything, meaningless procedures and the languishing economy. The thesis “Economy, economy, economy” won in these elections, but it was the prime minister who most credibly expressed, embodied and convinced people of it. A fantastic result, great responsibility and an unprecedented opportunity for one person to change Latvia. For many people we remained the second, less credible choice in this offering. But I am glad that a clear no has been said to the previous politics and that change is inevitable. Thank you to everyone who believed in me, among others, and voted. It is not a lost vote. It is everyone's vote for the greater good rather than the lesser evil. And that inspires me to keep working - in business, sport and politics. Thank you all 🎾
