Dear Latvian people! I want to say one simple word — THANK YOU. Thank God for strength and wisdom. Thank my family for patience and support. And thank you — the people of Latvia — for your trust. I am very well aware of the significance of this trust. And even more — of the duty. I and AS will not promise that it will be easy. But I promise one thing: Latvia's interests will come above my own. The state's interests — above all positions, with full Responsibility. To those who voted for us — thank you again. To those who did not vote — I will work for you too. Because from now on it is no longer about elections. From@Tas_es_Pats@AndrisVelps ok, I admit I was one of those who voted, and in my “district” you crossed the two-percent barrier, while the Raccoon Unity was voted out of the Saeima. But you also let yourselves down a lot by not promoting yourselves enough in Zemgale. You still have to work hard with yourselves.

@KasparsZ2 @Apvienotais_ @linda_matisone Why from the Progressives? I am also a random Latvian resident. AS has won the elections and I want a normal Minister of Economics. That's all. Not Kučinskis or Vējonis, for example.
