15941@UlvisSilins @Lato_Lapsa Must try, clear.
From@UlvisSilins@E_Stendzenieks @Lato_Lapsa I have already written this, but I will repeat: if 100 monkeys voted randomly on decisions, the final result would not be worse than what JV has accomplished in 18 years in government… Therefore, I see no risks in trying. If there is at least a 1% chance to turn something for the better, then we must try.

Absolutely right!
From@spundeYeah, unfortunately ASL (and MMN) did the “Russian bear's service” in the nationally conservative voters' wing. At least a couple of seats in the Saeima were lost. But it will be a good lesson for @VL_TBLNNK not to rest on laurels and to have a strong backbone, especially on ideological issues! The next election starts today!

From@Mikla741144262@guntarsv @Kuskis Before reducing what is used by the population, the whole “budget menu” should be opened: which expenditures are truly necessary for the state and which can be reviewed? Including state funding for organizations such as PROVIDUS and hundreds of others.

Saeima elections: who received the most pluses, and who got the most crossed out?
Which candidates of the parties elected to the Saeima were crossed out most often?
@ar_mazo_r @guntarsv @Kuskis exactly. The easiest is to cut where the opposition is the weakest.
From@ar_mazo_r@Elina_Treija @guntarsv @Kuskis who doesn't count pennies.. SIFI, KKF, theatres, etc. are also pennies! If there are no pennies – stop all construction, reduce hospitals until you can't get inside, cut child benefits entirely, don't give students state-funded places, close nursing homes, etc. But those non-pennies turn out to hit the weakest.

From@ecrgroup🇱🇻 CONGRATULATIONS to Latvian member parties on remarkable election results! We applaud the Group’s Latvian political partners following the parliamentary election, with United List achieving a historic result and National Alliance maintaining a solid level of support. ECR Group Co-Chair @NProcaccini: “Latvian voters have sent a clear message that their country’s future lies firmly in the West. I warmly congratulate Andris Kulbergs and United List on this extraordinary and historic result. Andris led an exemplary, disciplined and convincing campaign that spoke directly to people’s expectations – security, economic growth and better prospects for Latvian citizens. This result can only be described as truly exceptional.” ECR Group Co-Chair @PatrykJaki: “Andris Kulbergs has achieved something truly remarkable because people clearly trust him. He is direct, approachable and close to the everyday concerns of Latvian citizens. Politics needs leaders who listen, speak plainly and remain connected to the people they represent. Andris has shown that this closeness to people can go hand in hand with an unequivocal commitment to Latvia’s place in the West.” National Alliance, Nacionālā apvienība “Visu Latvijai!” – “Tēvzemei un Brīvībai/LNNK”, achieved a solid and respectable result, broadly maintaining its previous level of support. The party is represented in the European Parliament by ECR MEP and European Parliament Vice-President Roberts Zīle and ECR MEP Rihards Kols. Procaccini said: “I also warmly congratulate Ilze Indriksone and our friends in National Alliance on a solid and very respectable result. They have remained consistent in defending Latvia’s national identity, strengthening its security and calling for more effective migration rules, while standing up for families and local communities.” Jaki said: “My congratulations also go to Ilze Indriksone and the whole National Alliance team. Voters know what this party stands for and know that it does not abandon its convictions when circumstances become difficult.”

Krauze: ZZS's failure in the elections is related to voters' inability to forgive the change of opinion on the Istanbul Convention (1)
From@LV_visiemOne must be very brave and wise to say these words publicly in a "flock of crows": "Rinkēvičs reminds me of Munters". The worst part is that most TV viewers do not even know who Munters is and his role in the occupation of Latvia. Respect to @AlvisHermanis1 ! @partijaMMN https://t.co/SDa25b6STK

@Lato_Lapsa The bigger the high, the heavier the hangover. It applies to substances, processes, idols, and everything else.
From@Lato_LapsaWhat do you think - will the 'United List' still have a unified faction in the Saeima with the same number of MPs after a year?

@GraudinsMaris @Progresivie The real “holiday” for the “Progressives” will be the 16th Saeima elections, if now four years have to be spent in opposition. Then there could be a hard fight to overcome the five percent threshold.
From@GraudinsMarisAs usual, the smartest voters vote at the National Library of Latvia - 24% for PRO. PROGRESĪVIE 477 23.78% LNB. Otherwise, overall results for @Progresivie are weaker than in the Riga municipal elections.
