Šlesers: "Latvia First" is ready to begin negotiations with the "United List" on forming a new government. The Riga mayor should also be replaced, the politician believes.
"Latvia First" (LPV) is ready to sit down at the negotiating table with the "United List" (AS) on forming a new government, addressing party members, LPV prime ministerial candidate Ainārs Šlesers said on Saturday. Šlesers indicated that the currently available voter poll results are ratings and they differ from the real results. At the same time, he pointed out that it is obvious that AS has won the election.
“The fact that Evika Siliņa’s government stepped down paved the way for the United List to this result, and they have realized it in a good way,” New Unity’s prime ministerial candidate Arvils Ašeradens said in an interview with Latvian Television. #IzvēliesLatvijasNākotni #Vēlēšanas2026 https://t.co/cwuv5HbiO9

From@husiits@Lato_Lapsa It is 00:12 and only 44 precincts have been counted.. I really don't remember how it was in previous ones, wasn't it that much, much more had been counted? And how sick do you have to be to vote for JV and PRO; if JV gets in, that really indicates either stealing or masochism.
