If this is true, then there is nothing to comment here, or how PRO themselves trampled the principles of the Istanbul Convention. https://t.co/e47FeEzY6u

In the party of Latvia's traitors, the Progressives, everything is calm, stable, and unchanged. The minor just happened to have too short a skirt and too bright lips. https://t.co/Nm9WOTTkgN

@Krisjanis_K @Jauna_Vienotiba @Braze_Baiba Learn history. The OIK was introduced in 2009. I started working at the Ministry of Economics in 2016.

This OIK co-author representing @Jauna_Vienotiba, like @Braze_Baiba, is trying to fool people. As a result of the national sanctions, those shitty businessmen who have even signed some bloody grain transit contracts with companies from the fascist neighbouring country have every opportunity to legally and cleanly “get out” of the concluded blood contracts…

❗️State security is too serious a matter to allow playing with it. We are currently in a pre-election period when parties' voices sound the loudest, including about national security and defense. Unfortunately, under the guise of democracy, we are also experiencing people being incited and stirred up. @NA https://t.co/QM7fvZiyVC

Today @irLV has a forecast about what the 15th Saeima will do with the Istanbul Convention. I am concerned that the opponents, having frightened the public with SK for so long and misled about its content, will not be able to stop. Otherwise everyone will understand that the Istanbul Convention protects, not threatens. https://t.co/pebIKcNCOt

When you think there won't be anything funnier than a badger-and-hedgehog fight in the pre-election week, suddenly out of nowhere Braže and Dombrava fall out over the Ragozina question, and instead of the police, Kols shows up…

Almost two thirds, or nine of the total 14 lists submitted for the Saeima elections, have not managed without candidates with accusations and criminal cases in courts, reports the Latvian Television programme "De facto". https://t.co/w9feVagrtr #Vēlēšanas2026 #IzvēliesLatvijasNākotni https://t.co/rJi7vfaSiJ

@gvido20 @Braze_Baiba @RihardsKols @janisdombrava There is no need for anyone to get together there. One paper has to be signed there. The Foreign Minister's decision.

@Braze_Baiba @RihardsKols @janisdombrava Please do not argue on Twitter about who is responsible and in whose competence the persona non grata of Leonid Ragožin is included!! Please, come all together and make a decision that is in the interests of all residents of Latvia, and you still have opportunities before the elections to do a good job and earn plus points, so that you get into the next Saeima. I will wait for a firm stance!

Elections are approaching: how to decide who to vote for?

✅✅✅ The situation is as simple as 2x2. The law gives Foreign Minister @Braze_Baiba the power to deny people the right to stay in Latvia for political reasons. The law requires the Interior Minister to present a specific violation that must be proven in court. Kremlin prostitute Ragozins has been raging on the internet for the sake of “russkij mir” for at least the last eight years. Neither Foreign Minister @edgarsrinkevics, nor Foreign Minister @krisjaniskarins, nor @Braze_Baiba has lifted a finger to throw this FSB cockroach out of Latvia, which all three could have done in 5 minutes! Here you go, @Jauna_Vienotiba, the record of the last 8 years in a nutshell! #Ragozins

Not only in Latvia are people waiting for Ragozins to be dealt with, but also supporters of Ukraine in many parts of the world. Ragozins is a disgrace to Latvia, even though he has nothing to do with Latvia. https://t.co/85ORa9k3hs

@gatisliepin Gati, my friend, are you seriously writing this? We are not base, we criticise and praise each other based on the matter, not by counting credit points earned decades ago.

Prime Minister Kulbergs must surely be able to show the public his master's diploma if doubts arise and if he really has one. At least at the next video screening of the series "In the Prime Minister's Chair".

Our attitude toward the US is symmetrical to their attitude toward us. If we want strong US involvement in Baltic security, we ourselves must change and strengthen relations with the US and especially with the Trump administration! @MTarlaps @EvikaSilina @AndrisKulbergs Estonian companies have no obligations, no contracts for transit have been concluded.

Both @EvikaSilina previously and @AndrisKulbergs now are saying that we cannot unilaterally ban the transit of Russian goods (including grain). Estonia apparently has a different climate, or they are fools who do not want to and do not know how to profit at Russia's expense. https://t.co/XCiNKBwB3v

Ponomarenko – persona non grata. Ragozin – persona grata. Both had/have residence permits. In 2024, it was within the foreign minister's competence to include a RU comedian with a residence permit on the list of undesirables. In 2026, including someone who repeats Kremlin narratives is suddenly no longer the foreign minister's competence. Back then it was possible. Now she doesn't want to.

@liana_langa @Braze_Baiba Liāna, I think I do not need to convince you or anyone else about my principles in this matter. I am a member of Kulbergs’ association (I stress that) and a friend, too. Our attitude and scale of values are equivalent on this issue. What someone interprets or paraphrases cannot be controlled, after all.

Bjorka writes that the prime minister “does not divide by language...” Excuse me, what are those anti-constitutional messages from Bjorka in the company of the honourable prime minister? A desire to legitimise the consequences of occupation and Russification – de facto bilingualism? I assume that this question is important for a loyal voter; I urge you to state your position publicly! After all – the State Language Month has begun! #AtkrieviskoLatviju

Does the people's voice really carry weight? We re-evaluated all ten responses received in the “Energy Thermometer” survey. We awarded maximum points for citizen influence only if a local vote, referendum, or other mechanism can determine the final decision. Being merely “taken into account” through a hearing or a promise is not enough. Half of the assessment consisted of the real influence of residents and the municipality. We also assessed the protection of people, the environment, and the landscape, the developer's responsibility, and the feasibility of the proposals. If scores match, the answer that gives residents greater direct influence over the decision on the particular project receives the higher place. We did not assess which party is generally “better” or which is “for” or “against” wind energy. We assessed only what was written in the survey, using the same criteria for all answers. The analysis used only the answers submitted in this survey — not party programmes, not public statements, not votes or past actions. The status of the answers also differs: four are officially approved by parties, two were prepared by a working group, and four reflect the opinion of a politician or candidate. This status did not affect the scores.
