JV firmly supports the Istanbul Convention on preventing violence in the family. What don’t they try to scare us with – gender reassignments, undermining values, social genders! Remember the now folklorized sayings of the convention’s opponents – Smiltēns’ “the little room was very tiny”, Līdaka’s “because I feel like it”, or the infamous message from Kulbergs to Īvāns: “he deserves a spit in the face for this.” In the Saeima, LPV with its fellow travellers is again stirring up trouble. They are trying to set people against each other by amending the Satversme. JV does not yield to myths and will protect Latvia’s belonging to the Western values space, democracy, and respect for human rights. Who benefits from turning people against each other in Latvia? Don’t vote for those who help blow LPV’s Kremlin pipe!

@NobodyAIKampars Here I am not an advisor — let everyone choose what suits them best. But I think it is clear to everyone anyway which parties are openly anti-state.

@MaratQasem Clear. Without examples and politicians' names it’s hard to understand who is a real patriot. For now everyone is shouting loudly, and it’s impossible to understand how they want to achieve Latvia’s growth. It’s a pity you can’t cross some “populist dudes” out of the lineup. Including SV, Stabilitāte, Pro.

@kSukevics @suvajevs @Progresivie Communists invoke the communists' favorite activity - social engineering.

@suvajevs @Progresivie So a PRO Saeima deputy can openly support the leader of an extreme left party in Berlin, who until recently was a member of an extremist organization monitored by Germany's Office for the Protection of the Constitution? Does that seem OK to you, as the party leader, and everything is fine?

🟥 KULBERGS from the United List and INDRIKSONE from the National Alliance are again BETRAYING their voters right before the elections, both vote that there is NO need to withdraw from the Istanbul Convention! p.s. Hermanis from MMN thought for a very long time, and Valainis from ZZS has understood what the blue ZS means, and did not step on the rake again.

By the way, what would that vote be in the AS ranks? Given that some AS members from the Saeima chamber shouted "down with the Istanbul Convention!", or something like that... https://t.co/0Kms7Pz3UP

I wouldn't even have to defend a candidate or minister from another party, but this is a matter of state and on the merits. The Foreign Minister's decision on “persona non grata” is a fast process that lies exclusively within the Foreign Minister's competence. The Interior Minister has to carry out procedural steps and must receive an opinion from competent state institutions, which can also mean the decision being stalled at lower levels. If Dombrava is calling for a direct declaration of “non grata”, then I assume there is a basis for it. And that is your competence. It is a faster process. And this is a decisive time. If the occupier had not been toppled before the 2022 elections, it would still be standing, because afterwards there would not have been the necessary pressure from public opinion. It looks to me like delay over the chance to get rid of one walking occupier... If there is no result now, we will continue to bring shame on the state.

My clear position on the TET/LMT corporate deal and on the solutions that are coming soon https://t.co/KioPq1qql0

At a meeting with the President of Latvia, Prime Minister @AndrisKulbergs stressed that, although the process in its current form has been halted, the merger of Tet and LMT is a correct and necessary solution for Latvia. https://t.co/OPWjwvTffo

@viuksmp @MarisKucinskis @Finmin @Valstskase Overpromising is no longer in the millions... it has already gone into the stratosphere, into billions.

@AndrisKulbergs @MarisKucinskis @Finmin @Valstskase One of the best videos. This should be talked about much more, but perhaps before the elections one must be careful with this, because dreams are much more pleasant to many than the truth.

@RaivisZeltits Doesn't the Minister of the Interior have the political will to do what is within his competence?

For four months I have been raising this issue with you and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that, according to the assessment of the competent authorities, this step must be taken by the foreign minister under the conditions of Section 104, Paragraph 1, Clause 1 of the Immigration Law. If you have an assessment from even one competent authority that the interior minister can include this particular person on the "black list", then send it to me. I will gladly do it already today! However, as far as I know, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not have such an assessment that the aforementioned person can be included on the "black list" by the interior minister.

Listening to @Krustpunkta's conversation with @austsaule @RaivisZeltits. A different level of conversation. Smart, fact-based and future-oriented, comprehensive, open answers to all questions and ideas. I'm glad about such young Latvian people! Good luck in your work!
