🇱🇻🇪🇪 The foreign ministers of Latvia and Estonia, Baiba Braže and Marguss Cahkna, presented the annual Latvian and Estonian Language Prize. We congratulate this year's laureate Katarina Mageri, an Estonian language teacher at Riga Estonian Primary School, who received the award for her contribution to students' education, teaching Estonian language and literature, as well as promoting Estonian culture and traditions in Latvia 👏 Together we strengthen the Latvian and Estonian languages, culture and friendship. I bet - if the Interior Minister included Ragozins on the 'black list' and revoked his TUA, but a court later annulled this decision as insufficiently substantiated, then Unity would be the first to scream that the Interior Minister had acted out of political motives (such a privilege belongs only to the Foreign Minister https://t.co/9mE9P1xbtV

🇱🇻 A strong image of Latvia in the world means greater visibility, new opportunities for our entrepreneurs, attracting investment and a more influential Latvian voice internationally. Today, under the leadership of Foreign Minister @Braze_Baiba, a meeting of the Coordination Council for Latvia's External Image Policy took place, in which the institutions represented on the Council agreed on joint work on Latvia's national image strategy for 2027–2031. Latvia has significant international visibility events ahead – Liepāja 2027, 🇪🇺 Latvia's presidency of the EU Council in 2028, and the Song and Dance Festival. These opportunities must be used in a united and purposeful way, shaping Latvia's story based on the achievements of our people, businesses, science and culture, and strengthening Latvia's reputation in the world. 🔗More: https://t.co/MG0EwEWuL1 📸 Photo: Laura Celmiņa, Ministry of Foreign Affairs https://t.co/EGdqo1df27

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs supports Latvian 🇱🇻 businesses in securing EU 🇪🇺 funding and entering global markets. Interest among entrepreneurs in expanding into Asia, Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, and the EU’s Eastern Neighbourhood is growing, as Latvian technologies, digital solutions, and expertise can contribute to both economic growth and security in these regions. A seminar organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the European Commission, and the Latvian IT Cluster brought together 60 business leaders and representatives of public institutions. The discussions focused on the EU’s Global Gateway connectivity strategy and the EU Tech Business Offer initiative. These initiatives provide businesses with opportunities to access new markets, build international partnerships, and participate in major development projects. They create new prospects for Latvian technologies, know-how, and solutions in areas such as digitalisation, energy, and infrastructure. 🔗 More: https://t.co/EJarjko0eX 📸 Photo: Laura Celmiņa, MFA of Latvia

@AivarsMarkots @GeneralisAi believe me, people stand in line for those batteries, but not for a worn-out diesel.

@GeneralisAi you are not riding "for free". Your trip is paid for and compensated by society and the state budget. Plus we will also have to pay for the utilization and recycling of that electric shit of yours when it stops working. There you go.

Well, there really is no need to be surprised, because as is known, “Protests” is an NGO funded by Progresīvie, and judging by the numbers, the party is the only source of funding for this association, although that is not exactly accurate, because “Protests” submitted its latest annual report for 2023. What is interesting is something else — why isn’t this association liquidated then? But overall, we all taxpayers pay for it: the state pays party funding to Pro, and Pro in turn transfers 2% to this association, effectively keeping it alive. With that I congratulate us all. I wonder whether @KNABinforme will count it as pre-election expenses?

One of the biggest mistakes made by commentators about “XYZ is next” for Russian attack is the wrong assumption that NATO will not react. This is almost to say that there will be no consequences for touching the electrical wires with bare hands. No one should test NATO’s resolve. https://t.co/nOzHaU4UQc

@Pabriks @Braze_Baiba The most shocking is Baiba's shock of shocking incompetence, passing the buck to the interior minister, whose decision can be challenged, unlike Baiba's, which cannot be challenged. Truly shocking.

@Braze_Baiba I would like to remind that Ragozins, as far as I know, has hidden a number of his trips to Russia, which for a person who poses as a journalist is a serious violation.
