@didzisdejus @janisdombrava There you have it! The United List is delaying decision-making in the Saeima. For a long time already. And when asked to review it in a committee meeting so it could be supported at least in the first reading, Česlavs Batņa reportedly replied that no one will force him to do it.
From@IIndriksone@didzisdejus @janisdombrava The obstacle is in the Saeima committees chaired by members of the United List. Amendments to the Immigration Law and the University Law, which would place strict restrictions on fake students and impose liability and penalties on universities that invite third-country students for violations, are being kept in drawers.

From@didzisdejusToday the Cabinet of Ministers took note of the informative report on the so-called Wolt/Bolt couriers, after @janisdombrava's request to include the document for consideration in the Cabinet. Again at the last moment. Again not following the agreement on the procedure for submitting documents. But let procedure be. They reviewed and adopted it. Here it is, everyone can read it themselves - https://t.co/2jumByZ0sa "The plan's goal is to improve the legal framework for the entry and residence of third-country nationals in the Republic of Latvia. Three action directions were set for implementing the goal – studies, employment and other matters, within which a total of 23 measures were planned." The plan's points had to be fulfilled by 31 March. Two points have not been fulfilled. Both concern @IZM_gov_lv. Both are about foreign students who, most likely, are those Bolt/Wolt students we see in Riga every day. Who was the Minister of Education during this time since December 2025? Correct, @dacemelbarde from @Jauna_Vienotiba. She was in office from 6 March 2025 to 28 May 2026. She did not do it. But since 28 May 2026, the Minister of Education and Science is @IIndriksone from @VL_TBLNNK. From the same party alliance as @janisdombrava. Has the plan been fulfilled in +4 months? No, it has not. So much for our fight against immigration with students – Boltists/Woltists. Thank you for your attention. The obstacle.

From@andrii_sybihaIn broad daylight, Russia struck a building of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the very heart of Kyiv. Tragically, there are reports of people killed and injured in the attack. There is no bottom to Russia’s cynicism. A scientific institution full of people in the middle of a working day has become another target of its terror. Russia is deliberately expanding the boundaries of what it believes the world will tolerate. Every attack left without a strong response only encourages the next one. Our partners have the means to change this calculation. Ukraine urgently needs more missile interceptors to protect our cities, tougher sanctions to deprive Russia of resources for its war, and stronger pressure on everyone who helps Moscow sustain its killing machine. Russia must learn that every attack has consequences. The price of attacking Ukrainian civilians must become unbearable for the aggressor. We also call upon @UNESCO – the Organization dedicated, among other things, to protecting science and the scientific community – to strip the aggressor state of its voice, voting rights and its eligibility for election to any governing or working bodies.
