Today I looked into LA candidates in Riga and the MMN leaders:
- LA has taken Jaunups' former school 😁
- MMN - Hermanis from Jūrmala is running in Vidzeme, he is quite wealthy (account, cars)
- MMN - the cool lawyer Vilgerts with a supposedly cool car but €228.31 in his account and a debt of over a million
🎾 Long-time Līvāni mayor and “Latvijas attīstībai” leader in Latgale Andris Vaivods believes that Līvāni is proof that products demanded on the world market and well-paid jobs can be created in any Latgale municipality. I am pushing for the suspension of visa issuance to Uzbek citizens
After several Uzbek citizens committed crimes shortly after arriving in Latvia, including against minors. The Ministry of the Interior, based on Section 8(2) of the Immigration Law, today proposed that the government adopt a decision on the temporary suspension of visa issuance to Uzbek citizens. While visa issuance is suspended, work with the Uzbek side to prevent the possibility of persons arriving here who pose risks to public order and security.
Unfortunately, coalition partners were not ready to include this issue on the Cabinet’s agenda already today. We trust that the issue of suspending visa issuance will be considered at the next Cabinet meeting.
