🇬🇧 Sex-segregated lines in an Essex supermarket have sparked public outrage Men and women were seen queuing separately inside a grocery store in Romford. The scene irritated English people, who say they are now forced to obey the rules of Islamist migrants in their own country. https://t.co/iLQakj4Hre

Alvis Hermanis on punishing political irresponsibility. People who have been irresponsible and stolen from the state have no place in public administration! The powerlessness of law enforcement institutions is clearly visible right now - therefore we propose merging KNAB, VDD and IDB into one effective structure. https://t.co/2FUQGZrLfP

To obtain a passport, it will no longer be mandatory to get an ID card. I have submitted proposals for amendments to the Personal Identification Documents Law so that the identity card (eID) would no longer be mandatory and people would have the right to choose for themselves – a passport, an eID card, or both documents. The state's digital solutions must be convenient and accessible, but they should not be imposed as the only option. This is especially important for people who do not use electronic identification in their daily lives or who use eparaksts mobile. A person must have the ability to choose the most suitable identification document. If the Saeima supports this proposal, in the future a passport will be obtainable without the obligation to get an ID card.

@RSpunde95638 I doubt whether “Debilitāte” is much worse than “Sūdu Vara” - both fell out of the same Kremlin cart’s ass.

@kr_klavins Because it is not advantageous to anyone, imagine, if Stepaņenko’s votes go to Stabilitātei, what will happen.

Today the Latvian football family @kajbumba has a new home. The next big step is the national stadium. ⚽️ During my government, the Cabinet of Ministers took a decision to start work on the national football stadium project and prepare its implementation under a public-private partnership model. This work must be continued. Latvia needs a national football stadium. Football is one of the most important sports for children and young people, and girls' and women's football is also growing in Latvia. This growth needs appropriate infrastructure. Today the Latvian national team plays against Cyprus, and FIFA President Gianni Infantino is also visiting Latvia. This is an important moment to express Latvia's position. For Latvia, the priority right now is security. Russia's war in Ukraine and the threats posed by Russia and Belarus require strengthening our defence. Latvian national teams must not play against Russian or Belarusian national teams. As long as the war in Ukraine continues, there is no place in Latvia for normalising the sport of aggressor states. 📸: LFF

This time, on 3 October, voters are offered two choices. The first is to vote for the parties that support immigration; the second is to vote for Mēs mainām noteikumus, the only party that wants to completely stop even legal immigration from third-world countries. Their numbers in Latvia are disproportionately large, threatening security and the existence of a national culture. The fact that the old parties have no intention of slowing the number of arrivals from Muslim countries, no understanding of why there should not be a mosque in Riga, and no will to protect girls and women from sexual assaults is shown by the fact that Progresīvie worked in government for three years and are not at all ashamed of the label of anti-statism. Their Agnese Lāce, former culture minister, was a board member of the criminal organisation “Gribu palīdzēt bēgļiem” at a time when the association helped five Syrian illegal immigrants cross the Latvia-Belarus border. She was not punished for it. Likewise, the organisation's leader Ieva Raubiško escaped real punishment, being sentenced only to light community service. Progresīvie's world without borders, openness to everyone, proposed voting rights for non-citizens, and humanitarian aid to Gaza terrorists is a perfect match with all those whose sympathies lie in Moscow. Their ideas do not hinder, on the contrary, they help implement the Kremlin's interests. How else to explain the purchase of drones without explosives made by Andris Sprūds? And Lāce's statements about forgetting the Soviet deportations? Why do they support keeping Russian-language content in public media? On top of all that, Progresīvie poison the minds of entire young generations, already teaching kindergartners that there are not only aunties and uncles, but also "ontes" and "tankuļi". That sex change is a human right. That a boy was born in the wrong body. That family is evil and a source of heteronormativity. Thereby taking away from young people the ability to enjoy life and savour its fruits. Progresīvie is my red line. If you help a little, I will be able to implement it more practically than at present. Edvarts Krusts, Mēs mainām noteikumus, No. 1 in the Zemgale region https://t.co/E2I4cmmlmB

A rapist has decided to stop raping and will prepare laws against rape… A pedophile has decided to no longer touch children and will prepare laws against pedophilia… don’t take away the blue farmer Uzulnieks’s place at the trough, so he wouldn’t have to start working… https://t.co/LDEWtbQRLq

🔥 Biletskyi: Russian troops “slept through” the real Ukrainian strike and were taken prisoner on the Lyman front Ukraine’s 3rd Army Corps says it has completed the third phase of its offensive operation “Vivaldi.” According to corps commander Andrii Biletskyi, Ukrainian forces liberated Nove, Ridkodub and Katerynivka, while also restoring control over Karpivka and Novomykhailivka. According to the 3rd Army Corps, Ukrainian forces misled the Russians about the direction of the main assault. Russian units shifted reserves toward Shandryholove–Zelena Dolyna, while the main strike was actually focused on Nove. As a result, the corps says some Russian units found themselves in a difficult position and began surrendering. The Ukrainian side reports more than 250 prisoners of war, including officers, pilots and artillerymen.

Can't someone ask @reinisuzulnieks whether, after being elected to the 15th Saeima, he plans to fight and appeal the conviction in both the appellate and cassation instances? Because once the conviction takes effect, the parliamentary mandate will be lost. https://t.co/YtHfP4xo4n

If voters nevertheless elect former welfare minister Reinis Uzulnieks to the Saeima, he will be ready to take on the duties of a deputy and "actively engage" in reducing alcohol use and other addiction problems in the country. https://t.co/B0EhPetYGY

It's a pity that A. Lembergs is not running... he could help in the fight against corruption.

A deputy who has committed a criminal offence must be excluded from the Saeima. Drunk driving cases are not so complicated as to wait years for a verdict. https://t.co/YtHfP4xo4n
