From@ainarsbr11The Progressives supposedly had to write the mobile procurement specification so that they could buy super-expensive phones whose name contains "Pro". Mixing it up, "professional" and "progressive" are used to describe completely opposite activities to their party's activity https://t.co/TRPNrpQ9eD

Does the lower end of party ratings have any chance of a surprise?
@taisnibaskalps @Krisjanis_K I haven't seen such a vacancy yet, let alone applied. To be honest, it never even crosses my mind to become a welcomer. Quite the opposite, at the first opportunity I would go, e.g., to the Belarus border to help National Guard members, if needed. But yes, we cannot completely close ourselves off. That is a fact.
From@taisnibaskalps@CerinsAivis @Krisjanis_K Aivi, how much and who pays you for praising migrants? Honestly, I don't believe that a normal Latvian, seeing what is happening in the world with countries that let in the blacks, is still able to see anything good in it. We have about 300,000 Latvians outside Latvia, they need to be somehow brought back, not the blacks.

@dinchixs @L_a_s_m_a_ @JurgisLiepnieks Nacinālsociālisti ir kreisa partija.
From@dinchixsThis is super funny. Austošā Saule Latvijai member @L_a_s_m_a_ publicly uses Nazi symbolism on her X name. Of course, ASL, what other party uses a stylized swastika as a logo? Right @JurgisLiepnieks said about those nationalists who are more to the right of NA. Ha! https://t.co/C2poKmv2bU https://t.co/txNZQibhdj

Tilde is an example of Latvia's high value-added export. Tilde's artificial intelligence solutions are being tried out by German municipal administrations. Exports make up approximately 81% of the company's turnover, and it invests almost a fifth in research and development. Moreover, the solutions can be run on the client's own infrastructure without handing sensitive data to global platforms. Latvia's economic growth potential lies in such companies. The state's task is to create an environment where they can emerge and grow, specifically to fund research, prepare talent, become a smart first buyer, and ensure access to capital for company growth. Europe does not lack startups. It lacks companies that can grow into global players. According to the ECB, more large companies would allow Europe to close about a third of its productivity gap with the US. Latvia's goal should be not only to create new companies but to help them grow from Latvia into European leaders. https://t.co/VFutGdg0NG
From@OttoOzolsOn Saturday, October 3 — Saeima elections. It is also possible to vote at Swiss polling stations in Geneva and Zurich, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. These polling stations, as well as our opportunity to vote outside Latvia, are mainly organized by diaspora volunteers in their spare time. By voting, we also show respect for their work, dedication, and support for Latvian democracy 🇱🇻

@edgarsj Then when you attract 3 billion PRIVATE investments, I will defend you too. Trust me!
From@edgarsj@Chapis I understand very well your idea of defending golden visa recipients from interesting countries for your party boss's business. But my question was about your surprising claims, not the story.

From@Jauna_Vienotiba💚 Thank you for the high rating. We take it as a responsibility to continue working. The Association of Economists has evaluated parties' economic programmes, their ability to offer concrete answers to the challenges of Latvia's economy, as well as leader and expert teams. 📈 We are glad that the New Unity offer and team received a high rating in this assessment. Special mention was given to the professional and international experience of our people, as well as experience in various economic sectors. Also, our prime ministerial candidate @aseradens's strengths in the assessment are experience in sectors, professional development and international experience. At the same time, the Association of Economists also points to shortcomings in parties' proposals, including the need to balance plans much more precisely with the state's financial possibilities. We take that seriously. A good rating is pleasant, but most important will be the ability to turn plans into real work for the growth of Latvia's economy.

@edgarsj You still don't understand the idea. The segment was tendentious, aimed at showing investors as potential lawbreakers and threats to security. Although we know well that among non-investors there are thousands of lawbreakers. Whether they are paid municipal benefits or not is secondary.

From@dinchixs@L_a_s_m_a_ @JurgisLiepnieks Oh, Lāsmiņ! Google where Azov took this symbolism from! Any hedgehog who is even slightly informed about right-wing extremist symbolism knows what the Black Sun and Wolfsangel are. It also matches nicely with ASL's stylized swastika. Just a coincidence, right? Kremlin! Ha! https://t.co/OKoUSLyUYS

It is just beyond me how they can manipulate people and public opinion so that all the focus is on residence permits for investments (the so-called golden visas), where in ’25 there were 50 new deals and 90 extensions, but they completely keep quiet and ignore what is currently happening on the streets… I can’t explain it..🤷♂️
From@pucraic@Chapis An uninformed person might think that a money launderer creates exactly 0 risk and losses whatsoever, while a migrant with a forged driver’s licence endangers people’s lives and health every day, disrupts traffic, and cripples the labor market.
