@karlis_serzants@inesevoika Aha, so next time in Kyiv they could take the Latvian prime minister not to the memorial square for those fallen in the war or to Bucha, but to a fashion museum. Because, well, one might think we don't know that they die every day.
Thank you to the Economists' Association for the assessment! In the Economists' Association's evaluation, three of the ten strongest candidates are from @Progresivie. That is more than any other party. Our economic program was ranked third. Now the most important thing is to actually implement what has been proposed!

@inesevoika And he did the right thing. One might think Ukrainians don't know what occupation is. Ukrainians have also experienced the Holodomor, with 3–4 million starved to death…
I didn't want to write about Kulbergs again, but my heart bleeds reading this. Kulbergs replaces the Occupation Museum with ... the Motor Museum, because he "wanted to show the high Ukrainian guest something special and memorable." https://t.co/jpqoRDmrU0
We condemn recent Russian attacks on Kyiv by which a 14 years old Israeli citizen was killed last night, and 20 people - including the boy's mother were injured.
Our condolences to the family, and the families who lost their loved ones in recent attacks on Kyiv and other cities in Ukraine and wishing quick recovery to the wounded.

Well, say, Japan's case is unique in that the debt holders are the Japanese themselves. Only something under 15% of the debt service leaves the country. For us, of the 670 million in annual debt service interest, only kopecks stay in the country; everything else flows away to creditors who are not LV. That is a huge difference.
@Chapis Debt-to-GDP is important, but not decisive. US debt is 106% of GDP, Japan's 230%, and both are leading economies. Who would you lend to: a loafer with no debts or a businessman with a million in debt and 20 million in annual turnover? The problem is the ability to earn. Unfortunately, we are that loafer on the map.
Is the declaration of Stepaņenko's father as persona non grata a pre-election move? In TV24's programme "Globuss", the comment was provided by @Braze_Baiba, Minister of Foreign Affairs, candidate for deputy of the 15th Saeima.

Gotta love a shout out to @taylorswift13 and supporting Ukraine in the same tweet. I knew Latvia's Foreign Minister Baiba Braže supported Ukraine but I didn't know she was also a Swiftie? How cool is that! 🇱🇻🇺🇦 https://t.co/VhhlB78udO
“We do not have a migration policy. We have not said what we want and what we do not, who is desirable and who is undesirable. If we finally developed such a migration policy, it would be completely clear what universities may do, what businesses may do and what businesses may not do,” Andris Kulbergs (AS) said on the programme “Party in Focus”. #IzvēliesLatvijasNākotni#Vēlēšanas2026
To help voters make a critical and informed choice in the 15th Saeima elections, LTV offers a programme cycle “Party in Focus”, which provides a comprehensive insight into party programmes and their offering. #IzvēliesLatvijasNākotni#Vēlēšanas2026

@inesevoika Individuals who unanimously, all as one, the whole party as a whole, refuse to state their ethnicity can calmly go bleed somewhere else and with other organs, and leave @AndrisKulbergs alone.
I didn't want to write about Kulbergs again, but my heart bleeds reading this. Kulbergs is swapping the Occupation Museum for ... the Motor Museum, because he 'wanted to show the high Ukrainian guest something special and memorable.' https://t.co/jpqoRDmrU0
Is it really true that there isn’t a single half-decent economist around the prime minister who could knock all this total nonsense out of his head? How can airBaltic’s truly unbearable credit liabilities at 14.5% per year (and more) be compared with Latvia’s tiny state debt (49% of GDP vs 88% average in the eurozone), which is being refinanced at perfectly normal interest rates? If the head of government keeps babbling nonsense, things are not good.
But for Briškens's turkey, Švinka's AirBaltic, Lāce's Russification, and Rasima's machinations, Zolitūde's worm's heart did not bleed. https://t.co/l0zHFobvjR
Russia killed a 14-year-old boy in Kyiv. In broad daylight. In his own room.
On his desk, there was a notebook with unfinished homework.
A Russian drone crashed into his home — straight through the window of his room. https://t.co/UBbFH06VV8
