I suppose I need to explain. The Istanbul Convention has nothing about genders, but someone saw them there. Out of fear of gender politics, a proposal to write in the ultimate number of biological sexes also arose. That of course is primitive election marketing, but there are also deputies and deputy candidates who think that is how it should be done. Such people must be kept away from the legislative process. The legislature should be staffed by people with some intellect and knowledge.

@martinsstals If that is so, then defining sex in law won't affect your SK at all, right? You have nothing to worry about, there is no reason to call anyone a genderophobe, because you yourself said—there are only two sexes.. genderophobia doesn't exist.. Or did you just make up a bunch of nonsense..

The local elite, unfortunately, has for years supported Jūlija Stepaņenko's political career, but now expresses surprise at how she managed to gain such popularity. Stepaņenko (then SC/GKR) entered Latvian politics by a very clear path. She would have remained on the political periphery if in 2015 she had not found support in the National Alliance and other mainstream parties for her “virtue” initiatives in the Saeima. After that, Ainārs Šlesers took Stepaņenko under his wing, putting her forward as a candidate for the office of President. Even then there were many who warned that the ideology preached by Stepaņenko was like something from the Kremlin's playbook. But in vain. And here we are. Hopefully this time the services will do their job.

@Gaumigais_joks Nonsense, there can be low taxes, favorable tax regimes and many taxpayers, etc...

@Chapis If the budget relative to GDP is larger, it means that taxes dampen the economy and development more! The budget percentage against GDP should be as low as possible!

Finally a correct decision... conflict of interest at RīgasSiltums, husband wins tenders, very poor corporate governance, wastefulness in procurement... it is not normal that the VIP nursing home for state-owned company management continues its usual practice. My sister tells me that she and her colleagues have been talking about the elections. She said she would vote for @austsaule. It turns out that another one admits that they will vote the same way, and another says: Me too! It turns out that like-minded people are all around, only the current government is trying to make ASL a small unit! ♥️🇱🇻🤍

People are eating weeds in Oleshky because there is almost nothing else left to eat. There is no electricity, water or gas. Some people eat once a day. Shops are closed and medicine is scarce. Leaving means facing mined roads, with no agreed humanitarian corridor. Around 6000 people remain there. At least 200 of them are children.

Those know-it-alls have borrowed it from the programme of “Mēs mainām noteikumus” @partijaMMN, so they are hardly able to justify it on their own. I will try as a non-specialist. In short, currently the state allocates quotas not according to how many people a medical institution “cures” for a given diagnosis, but how many times it performs some procedure. Statistically, treatment outcome indicators can be, for example, mortality, readmission after x days, the share of complications in a patient group, patient-reported outcomes, etc. Outcomes are determined not from one patient but from a group of patients. Under such a model, an institution no longer gets money for people entering and leaving the doctor’s office a certain number of times. It gets money for doing everything necessary with patients to improve the institution’s statistics in a given measurement group (mathematically speaking).

I’m watching the AS men’s debate on LTV and I don’t understand how they imagine “paying for the result, not the procedure” in healthcare?! Will cancer patients get therapy paid for only if they survive? Will preventive check-ups not be paid for if no disease is found? Why don’t journalists ask that?
