How to explain that no party, even NA, wants to revoke Leonīds Ragozins' residence permit in Latvia? No. Party. My explanation - all parties and Mr. Ragozins have the same boss. Other explanations? https://t.co/FEpWUFp9vk
@inesevoika@zanulens Here you can start investigating Lāce's pro-Russian activities in the Ministry of Culture. With pro-Russians, nothing can be "done together for Latvia" because their policy leads Latvia to destruction. Their ideology is against nation-states as such, replacing them with a cultureless socialist international. https://t.co/Xuv9TcQOZ3
@inesevoika@zanulens Voting rights for non-citizens, Russian language in state media, migrant "integration" on the basis of de facto Russian language (see the "integration" projects supported during Lāce's time) etc.
@inesevoika@zanulens I wouldn't say anything if these Progressive activists didn't continue the policy hostile to Latvians started by their predecessors - continuing the privileges of Russian occupiers and replacing Latvians with migrants.
@zanulens PRO activists are already mostly raised in families of Chekists and Soviet collaborators, who have apparently absorbed leftist thinking and betrayal of their people with their mother's milk.
The Latvian government is characterized, it seems, by a short-sighted attitude towards the countries that defend Latvia.
One minister decided that Spain, whose soldiers have been defending Latvia for a long time, should be reprimanded.
The second minister decided to break the agreement with Sweden, whose soldiers and equipment have recently arrived in Latvia. https://t.co/kHQGhPY8Ov
Petraviča, Liepiņa, Zivtiņš, Bartaševičs and Šlesers will lead Latvia out of the swamp... I lack ideas to understand their ratings (unless it's Kaktiņš's friendship with the known bank), even more so I don't understand how @E_Stendzenieks (supposedly an advanced intellectual) can sleep peacefully

I will gladly do it when I can. Meanwhile, you can ask your ex-minister about these 'strange' decisions and promises. About 3 lost years that were lost to national defense... I am at a loss for words... 🇺🇦 gives us the most precious = time to prepare, but you with your PRO 'politics' wasted it... why???, I still cannot understand
Kulbergs and Melnis must provide more detailed explanations for the decision not to buy the Swedish Archer system after all.\n\nThis is artillery tested in Ukraine.\n\nSweden is our closest ally. Hundreds of Swedish soldiers guard Latvia.\n\nThis is how Sweden's defense minister comments on Latvia's decision: https://t.co/AMP2NO1xNw
@idontlikesand9@pineconehiller@andristeikmanis LPV down and JV up, what makes you think that can't be? Although, in your case – some well-meaning ladies have apparently just given 160K to fortune tellers and curse removers.
@E_Stendzenieks@pineconehiller@andristeikmanis what exactly will we see? that those alleged scandals will somehow literally affect the result of LPV or JV? or does JV not have a single legitimate voter?
Mr. Kulbergs, Ryanair is not a folk singer singing an anthem about 'long-term commitments'; it's a company, and a company, unlike the prime minister, calculates. Planes fly where fees are lower. That's not a paradox; that's the only regularity capital has at all. Capital is not married to Latvia; it is free. You want 'reliable connectivity'. Ryanair promises cheap tickets, and it leaves if the tax threshold rises again. Not understanding this means not understanding why Latvia is getting smaller but the state is getting bigger.

I am watching how convincingly Šlesers tells how he will now form a two-party coalition together with the United List. As far as I know, AS has a completely different opinion…

Good morning - woke up with a new task? I suggest you calm down, don't lie or at least don't pretend to be a mind reader who knows our goals better than we do. Our party has 2 former Saeima deputies, a Supreme Council deputy who voted for the independence restoration declaration, former and current officials of ministries and other state administration institutions, lawyers, economists, entrepreneurs. I won't recite my CV to you. Honestly, it seems to me that you are too poisoned by Soviet thinking to understand that we are both people of conviction and with knowledge, nor are you interested in reality, but with your word salads you only rhyme gibberish that only you understand. Our goal is to be in the Saeima.
Yes, that's what you preach. Of course, those who get into the Saeima can receive larger sums than 2%, but you yourselves know perfectly well that you know nothing - how to make laws and how to implement them. You don't know that and you can't know. You are a wish plan to take votes from NA. https://t.co/zLLD0vshyK
@kristsavots You need to stop living in opposition. The government made a decision - that needs to be explained, especially given the public comment by Sweden's defense minister.
@suvajevs And the previous minister could explain what math he used when making the decision and evaluating the costs and delivery times of the offers. 😉
In some central institutions, the practice of paying premiums and cash awards has returned. According to Treasury data, almost 1 million EUR was paid out in August. The largest amounts - in the Ministries of Defense, Welfare, Foreign Affairs, and Education and Science.
“This is a question of the state's attitude towards families and towards having children. Will [5000 euro benefit] help – of course it will help. And here is the question about exactly 5000 euros for children born in Latvia. That will also stimulate this remigration,” said Edmunds Zivtiņš (LPV) in the program “Party in Focus”. #ChooseLatviaFuture#Elections2026
“I would like to attract at least a couple of Chinese companies to Latgale that could start producing goods for the European market. We have a special economic zone in Latgale, which means that import duties could be avoided while production takes place. A couple of such manufacturing plants should be created around Rēzekne and Daugavpils,” said Ainārs Šlesers (LPV) in the program “Party in Focus”. #IzvēliesLatvijasNākotni#Vēlēšanas2026
@Elina_Treija@InaDruviete@liana_langa strange that you considered it possible to sit at the same table with that disgusting cheka provocateur Langa (I won't say anything about the stupid raccoon Druviete).. and even be proud of it??? you know, I thought much higher of you
Very interesting that a @DelfiLV journalist has taken to fighting the freedom of speech guaranteed by the Constitution! That's what communists have always done, I don't know if Alina realizes it.... https://t.co/zHBSKNKBQx
@inesevoika@JanisIesalnieks@zanulens The Progressives are not Latvians, they have renounced their nationality. In essence, they should be deportable as not belonging to Latvian values.
thanks, now it's clearer.
PRO and NA do not divide voters, I don't see the point in dragging out old things that are no longer true in any way.
In my opinion, we should look at the substance of what can be done together for Latvia.
Regarding the integration projects supported in Lāce's time based on the Russian language - I would like to look at that more closely. But it's also clear that SIF projects are approved by the council, the directions - those were already determined during Puntulis's time. In other words - maybe it wasn't right, but blaming Lāce personally for it is also a political step that does not lead to clarity or improvements.
