I don't believe that everyone is born the way they later live; some change their orientation due to external influence, says Ainārs Šlesers, the 'Latvia First' candidate for prime minister.

Russian-speaking children should be given the opportunity to learn Russian language and literature at school, but every child, upon finishing school, should be able to speak four languages, Šlesers says.

This post is almost a year old, but its content is no less alarming. Especially given that its author, Valts Dalbiņš, is currently running in the Saeima elections on the National Alliance's Vidzeme list. There is no justification for violence against women. The claim that a woman herself is responsible for her partner's violence because she didn't love him enough not only shifts the blame from the abuser but normalizes an attitude we as a society should be fighting. The responsibility for violence always lies with the one who chooses to carry it out, not with the person it is directed against.

Asked why he himself makes videos in Russian, Šlesers answers that it is better for Russian-speaking people to vote for LPV than for Rosļikov's party.

Our attitude towards Andris Kulbergs is that the two largest parties will have to form a government after the elections, said Ainārs Šlesers. He reveals that after Evika Siliņa's (JV) resignation, in a conversation with the President, he promised 'Latvia First' support for the 'United List' prime minister.

@VisockisJuris @jautaa_veel @AndrisKulbergs @AlvisHermanis1 @RostovskisA @AndrisBite For clarity, I am very conservative against migration from third world countries. We must accept the fact that it exists and decide together how to regulate it for our own good. Taxes can be paid wherever one wants nowadays. They can also reside in another country if anything.

@CerinsAivis @jautaa_veel @AndrisKulbergs @AlvisHermanis1 @RostovskisA @AndrisBite And? Paying taxes is the DUTY of entrepreneurs! And the JRT building is a better use of tax money than benefits/healthcare for third world scum, Alberta street NGOs and 'refugee' housing, which also costs millions! You really have very little clarity in your head, which we already saw in the video with Kramiņu.

⛽ The rise in fuel prices is already affecting both people's wallets and companies' costs – so an action plan must be ready before the situation becomes even more severe. In August, the price of diesel increased by 11.5% in a month, and by 24.5% in a year. The increase in fuel prices raises transport and logistics costs and may further be reflected in the prices of goods and services. New Unity calls on the government to prepare concrete scenarios now, so that in the event of further rapid price increases, it would be possible to act quickly and in a targeted manner. 💬 @aseradens: "We must not wait until the rise in fuel prices is fully reflected in the price level across the entire economy." In our view, the solution must be targeted, fiscally proportionate, and quickly implementable – to mitigate the price shock for both families and Latvian companies.

I really don't understand why Latvia's neo-communists, left-liberals and internationalists want to achieve the same criminality result in Latvia, risking people's safety and well-being? Yes, that truly is the blindness of blind sheep....
