I am in contact with the responsible Riga agencies and inform that the de-Russification of Riga's public space will continue next year. The replacement of various plaques and inscriptions is a costly measure, so a budget position is planned specifically for the de-Russification of Riga's public space. #AtkrieviskoLatviju

So it turns out that unfortunately we live in different realities. Until we have to dig through the face-lifted Ždanoka, because how can it be that a dad from Russia appears who generously sends money, while our honest citizens have to face AML and customs duties. We can do better!👌

I am no longer a businessman, announces Ainārs Šlesers, adding that by conviction he is nevertheless a businessman.

“I have protested against the current government, but I have never protested against the state,” says Ainārs Šlesers, stressing that he once organized protest actions together with Rosļikovs, but he does not support his current activities, which are supposedly directed against the state.

Thanks to @InaDruviete and @liana_langa for the conversation and for keeping eyes wide open. Link to the podcast in the comments https://t.co/OzrP7sGO4v

Responding to his meaning when he says that Latvia should stop quacking, Ainārs Šlesers cites as examples Alexander Ovechkin's inclusion on the blacklist and the ban on grain transit. In his view, these steps are linked to the low ratings of political competitors.

Prime Minister's communication advisor Elīna Šverna informed the LETA agency that, in Kulbergs's assessment, the concerns expressed by the Latvian Health and Social Care Workers' Union regarding wages and sector funding are fully understandable, but changing the minister so shortly before elections will not solve problems that have persisted for years https://t.co/HbieluOnm1

Russian-speaking children should be given the opportunity to learn Russian language and literature at school, but every child, upon finishing school, should be able to speak four languages, Šlesers says.
