Today, we have disbursed €1.24 billion under the €90 billion Ukraine Support Loan. The funding covers drones, drone interceptors, drone ammunition and missiles manufactured by Ukrainian entities. This will help strengthen Ukraine's defence industry. And Ukraine's ability to defend itself. To protect people and infrastructure. More: https://t.co/qSpCR6AmVB

We are working closely with the US administration in the fight against illegal migration and other threats at our border. This strengthens the whole of NATO. 🇱🇻🇺🇸 Thank you to Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Special Envoy for Belarus John Koul for the support. https://t.co/6HlmCC639c

Nothing comes to mind that could help stop Russian grain transit. Some qualities would be needed more and others less, but I can't imagine... *The illustrative illustration has only illustrative meaning. :) https://t.co/xqXNn0SuAL

Yesterday in Strasbourg, the European Parliament voted on the AGILE defense innovation programme developed under my leadership - that is EUR 115 million for small, medium-sized enterprises and start-ups! Applications will begin as early as next year. More info about the programme: https://t.co/pERJ77ckeq https://t.co/YUdrqcUjmI

@KZorins In Riga there is no way out. There is one in the Cabinet of Ministers.

In Riga, AS + JV + PRO + NA can work, but the Cabinet of Ministers can’t?

@spravniks @EvikaSilina Look at when the fence was designed and construction began — that was the time when Evika Siliņa was directly responsible for it.

@kr_klavins Actually, @EvikaSilina hasn't been in the government for almost 6 months. If it's so easy, why hasn't Dombrava done it? The fence won't help against that enemy, but I've been at the border and there are things there that will help. If you finally join the NBS, you yourself will also be able to help. Will you join the ranks?

Oh, and unrelatedly — does anyone know why Latvian society does not trust the Saeima, the government, and political parties? https://t.co/JzzFQQSXmV

Let's call this a learning process - the film producers association is the first in 2026 to learn how what was said before the elections differs from what is done after the elections. In the association's pre-election debates, representatives of AS, JV, and NA publicly and passionately supported forcing streaming platforms to use Latvian-produced content. Now no longer. https://t.co/0I0YJBZ6Gn

A referendum will be organized, the true purpose of which is to give AS deputies, who before the elections promised various groups (NGOs, congregations, etc.) to vote for the denunciation of the Istanbul Convention, an excuse not to vote. They will most likely spend around 2 million euros of taxpayers' money for this purpose.
