I wouldn't have believed it, but a fact - the President has 'on his own initiative' pardoned inventor Raimonds Skuruls. But that does not mean that I am ready to pardon the cop, the prosecutor's office, the courts, and the political hack who fabricated this shameful case. The book will be.

@liana_langa LSM has prepared such a “public service order”, which SEPL approved, sent to them for execution? I don't know any LSM political/public affairs journalist who would not be pro-servile.

THE GREEN COURSE MAIMS THE MARKET To meet EU climate neutrality standards, the purchase of electric cars is subsidized, granting 3000 to 9000 euros for a new purchase, provided the car's base configuration price does not exceed 45,000 euros without VAT. Meanwhile, in Latvia the average car is 15 years old and its value is about 7000 euros. People cannot afford more expensive cars. So these subsidies are used by those who could afford to buy a car even without them. Meanwhile, owners of old internal combustion cars will pay for the subsidies, because from 2027 fuel will also be subject to a CO2 emission quota tax, which will be credited to the Social Climate Fund, but it will be used to support the purchase of new electric cars. That is the face of Latvia's Green Course. I would propose redirecting the specific subsidy of 40 million to demographic support mechanisms, for example, tax breaks.

@Afanasijs If you ask AI about golden visas, it turns out that in those distant implementation times, it was precisely Vents Krauklis, as a Saeima deputy, who was one of the most active promoters of their introduction…

@MurnieksA As I understand, he has not submitted any petition. A respectable person.

@Lato_Lapsa As heard, an obligatory precondition for pardon is admission of guilt from the convicted party. Skuruls, wonder, has he done that?

@Krisjanis_K @MGruskevics @Jauna_Vienotiba As I already predicted, then, given the sad outcome of Krauze's tree case, no minister or official has been willing to take on the legal risks of so crudely violating the requirements of EU Regulations. It is possible that this has been informally tasked to LDz/LRN, but they are not that crazy either.
