@AinavaP @austsaule To that I, of course, agree. As I said - we remember everything. Let's decide on the best course of action.

@RaivisZeltits @austsaule well then in 4 years it will learn! that would be a long-term benefit, because it is essentially a questionable filter that is placed. TV is not funded from some taxes, but from all. Another LSM arbitrariness.

“We will block the coalition if anyone tries to form it with Šlesers. If they try, then we will be in opposition to such a government. But I am convinced that the majority of Latvian society will support European and patriotic forces so that such a coalition does not need to be formed,” said Edmunds Jurēvics (JV) on the program “Party in Focus”. #IzvēliesLatvijasNākotni #Vēlēšanas2026

“We need capabilities for the army practically yesterday. Those capabilities that are defined in NATO's common vision and plan must be developed, and we must be ready today. [..] We cannot create an industry of that scale in two years. But in the field of drones and technology, we have strong enough specialists,” Rihards Kozlovskis (JV) said on the program “Party in Focus.” #IzvēliesLatvijasNākotni #Vēlēšanas2026

@AinavaP @austsaule Knowing the speed of courts in Latvia, we would at best see some result after several years, but then that ungiven airtime would not be relevant. But we remember everything and will look for a better course of action.

@austsaule you should sue ltv in court. Let the court decide whether that 2% barrier, surveying 1034 people in a survey without all party names, is a good measurement to deny a party formed by Latvian citizens who pay taxes the right to express themselves, offer a vision for the state!

I'm listening to LTV1 party introductions. JV claims that it has had to fight hard for 5% of GDP funding for defense and for the transition to education in Latvian. So against whom did they have to fight on these issues in previous coalitions? With themselves within the party?

I have no problem being asked about Uzulnieks etc., but not asking state-level questions while I am at Arctic Summit and meeting with all the leaders is strange, yet 🇱🇻 society would deserve to know directly the latest information about what is happening in 🇪🇺 politics. The press conference had 127‼️ journalists from around the world in Lapland! So, the questions were not unimportant. It's not KasJauns or PrivātāDzīve that calls me, but our own public media LR1.

@AndrisKulbergs @LRZinas I wonder what security a country can count on when those at the wheel like to drink? That is an important topic. A peculiar indignation and justification when questioned on this topic. I agree with the opinion that politicians need alcohol and other substance tests every day before work.

Family Photo: European Leaders Unite in Rovaniemi as Arctic Security Takes Centre Stage! European leaders gathered in Rovaniemi, Finland, for the official family photo of the European Arctic Summit. The symbolic moment brings together leaders at a time when the Arctic is rapidly becoming one of Europe’s most strategically important regions. Security in the High North, Russia’s military presence, climate change, new shipping routes, critical minerals and Europe’s ability to strengthen its Arctic capabilities are all moving higher on the political agenda. The family photo captures a clear message from Rovaniemi: Europe is looking north — and the Arctic is becoming central to its security, economy and geopolitical future. #Arctic #EuropeanUnion #Rovaniemi #eudebates

The newspaper "Rīts". June 19, 1940. An inner voice says ever more loudly and insistently - the inventor Skurulis' case book will wait, two huge volumes about the Fifth Year will wait, everything else will also wait, but the book "Not Standing Against Fate" with the subtitle "How to give away and betray your country" will not wait. As Rainis would say - a book with black pages… What do you say?

@vitaamiins @LRZinas You can ask, no problem, but why not use the moment to also deliver direct news, because Arctic Summit, where I am right now, which is significant for Latvia?

@AndrisKulbergs @LRZinas again journalists don't ask the questions the prime minister wants :)
