I wonder what will happen to Sweden when migrant benefits and progressive leftists have wrecked the social system and they no longer have funds for a free life…

Interesting, how many journalists with breathalyzers will be waiting for ministers before a government meeting or deputies before a Saeima session? It would also be fitting in the Riga City Council…

@AndrisKulbergs @LRZinas But I don't believe

This morning at 7:00 I gave an interview to @LRZinas while being in Lapland at the Arctic Summit, an EU leaders' event. It surprises me that instead of the Latvian public learning about the decisions we are making to strengthen security against Russian threats, my 1:1 discussions with German Chancellor Merz about the EU's new 7-year budget, about the common agreement of Baltic leaders to solve the RailBaltica issue, about Iceland's EU referendum or the general EU position in the Arctic in the fight for natural resources and the new northern sea transport corridor... all that journalists are interested in is Uzulnieks being caught drunk, whether ministers use drugs, and why I hold a glass of beer at a basketball game... I believe you can do better 😉

LTV likes to emphasize that it is an adherent of high morals and journalistic standards, so it is strange to see how former President's press secretary Gusts Kikusta has gone from a public relations specialist to a leading journalist who interviews politicians on LTV during the pre-election period. https://t.co/ljCdEOC20m

This is not your fate. It has been your opportunity, which you always eagerly use. The fate of you and all of us is the result of your work - Latvia is practically last in any discipline in the EU. And that is also logical, because you always represent the opinion that it is better to pretend to measure 77 times than to cut once. Not to take responsibility for decisions, but only to take positions. That is the JV philosophy :( And also, if anyone here thinks about writing something about Valdis Dombrovskis, then remember - he was nominated by New Era, which was a completely different level of politicians.

This was an impressive, complimentary interview typical of public relations specialists, how everything is so good, without sharp questions from LTV “journalists” in Monday evening prime time. “New Unity” says a big thank you, will certainly thank the architects and the performers. https://t.co/z9MvuqLlYM

LTV certainly won't ask JV about language policy, so I will remind, - Siliņa promised, but did nothing with this bill you signed - Langa's initiative to strengthen the state language, the Saeima committee 'kickbacks' to the government https://t.co/iSN4j0esb8 https://t.co/LF3p30yr5l

If LV were founded thinking about who would work here etc., then Latvia wouldn't exist at all! Our own country is a great luxury that is not promised to us for life. And only we need a LV where Latvian is spoken and Latvians live. Others just need to take something, earn and that's it! So everyone be responsible on 3 Oct.

If the vote of a recently arrived immigrant in elections carries the same weight as the vote of a native citizen whose ancestors built this country over a thousand years, can we say that the result obtained through democratic elections is FAIR? In my opinion, it is not. Moreover, it creates a perverse motivation for certain parties to advocate not for the interests of their own citizens, but for the loosest possible migration and citizenship policies, in order to stay in power with immigrant votes. This modern reality forces us to reconsider the fundamental principles of citizenship. Perhaps voting rights should be granted only if the citizen's ancestors have lived in the country for several generations and have made a positive contribution to the country's development.

@Elina_Treija @liana_langa Against the Russian FSB curators who have enormous influence on the party.

I'm listening to LTV1 party introductions. JV claims that it has had to fight hard for 5% of GDP funding for defense and for the transition to education in Latvian. So against whom did they have to fight on these issues in previous coalitions? With themselves within the party?

The Swedish right-wing government granted citizenship to ~200,000 non-European immigrants over the last 4 years… ~70% of people with a non-European background just voted for the left, allowing them to take power 176-173. Just ~30k votes. There’s a powerful lesson here. https://t.co/Mh0sknwU48

I have no problem with being asked about Uzulnieks and so on, but it is strange not to ask state-level questions while I am at the Arctic Summit and meeting with all the leaders. Yet Latvian society would deserve to know straight from me the latest information about what is happening in EU politics. There were 127 journalists from around the world at the press conference in Lapland! So the questions were not unimportant. After all, it is not KasJauns or Privātā Dzīve that calls me, but our own public broadcaster LR1.

Kariņš also did not like it when he was asked about some irrelevant special flights rather than the great content that he supposedly accomplished on these trips. https://t.co/XcFF7L57mQ

Also the Latvian Progressives are not interested in your opinion about their (in)actions, because they hope to import their voters, replacing you. https://t.co/ErKFQotlS2
