Unfortunately, nothing in life suggests that what is written here is true. If changing the electoral system were the only goal, as claimed, one should seek a referendum on this matter. Signatures need to be collected. MMN themselves have submitted to the CEC amendments to the immigration law to start collecting signatures. Yes, that is the right path, if you have one specific goal - for example, changing the electoral procedure. But no. MMN does nothing of the sort, only squawks about the electoral procedure. Nothing has been developed. They will start when they get elected, but then they won't be able to, because there will be too few votes, no bastard wants to change the rules, etc. Obviously, that is not the real goal, and I do not like being lied to.

For those who haven't understood yet: MMN's goal is not to come to rule. The only reason the movement MMN was created is to change the election law. To get rid of parties and henceforth vote for specific people who bear personal responsibility. In MMN's case, the idea is important, not so much the people who represent it. Including me. I honestly admit that sitting in parliament is not my dream, and I would certainly refuse the deputy's salary, because in any case I will continue to work in the theater. Unlike other parties, we have a completely different goal: not to gather power for ourselves, but to change the rules of the game - to introduce a new election method so that power is returned to the people again. As it is written in the Constitution. Because the Constitution says nothing about parties at all. Read it yourself. You are being used and led by the nose. And maybe it's time to put an end to that. MMN.

@mrserge LSM refused an interview about the storm damage in Jelgava. Then suddenly they knew I was running. LSM follows ratings, shapes public opinion according to their views, and they have their favorites.

You know, you also have to take a look at yourself. When LSM searches for your name, the only news this year is about the business incubator where you yourself rent (rented?) an office. https://t.co/cRR7Yp18gy How can it be that for a whole year there is nothing to tell about your accomplishments as deputy mayor? Things were done, you just need to learn how to talk about them.

An episode that well illustrates where the real problem with NGOs lies. The question is actually whether the NGO, the port board, or the special economic zone has insiders, and whether funding reaches insiders. The new government also continues old habits – placing politically close individuals on boards where work does not actually happen and where the position can be combined with a main job. The disgraceful deal between ZZS and PRO regarding the Istanbul Convention also came to light. On the other side was the suspension of port reforms, and it cannot be ruled out that the LVM 50 million euro subsidy to specific companies was also part of this agreement.

All scenarios are possible. Also such that we get in even with a minimal number, but without us a coalition cannot be formed, and then MMN is the "golden card" and an opportunity to dictate rules - gently force others to participate in changing the election law.

In the P advertisement newspaper, a large picture of Briškens and several paragraphs, but not a word about Rail Baltica (!). In the previous elections, he was announced as the long-time leader of Rail Baltica.

@mrserge But the principle that LSM is guided by ratings and therefore will continue to invite all sorts of freak shows remains. LSM must provide information in an objective, factually correct and balanced manner. Let private media deal with ratings.

@martinsstals At LSM she was there for the first and last time, most likely.

@mrserge For 20-year-old girls, the rating indeed allows them to perform everywhere.

@martinsstals Hmm. I understand that before the elections you also have to put yourself next to a 20-year-old hairdresser-URL, but still this guy (chatter on fridge magnets) and LSM just don't go together for me.

Usmanov and Fridman are exactly the kind of Russian business figures who need to find the courage to take concrete steps against the war. This is exactly the kind of Russian economy that should not be given additional opportunities while the Ukrainian economy is suffering from Russian terror and Putin’s refusal to stop the war. With 500 “shaheds” a day, this is certainly not the time to even begin the discussion about easing sanctions – especially sanctions against individuals about whom no one can say how exactly they have helped protect lives and reduce Putin’s ability to continue the war. We need to keep up comprehensive pressure on Russia for its war. Strengthen sanctions against Russia instead of weakening Ukraine! I thank everyone who is helping! (3/3)

Žigim has the time and resources to delve into each party's offer, but LSM with a €72M taxpayer-funded budget ends up inviting only 57% of the political forces. I hope that the architects of this system will one day be able to taste their own medicine. https://t.co/wXM64wtakE
