On 7 October 2023, Hamas terrorists murdered 1,200 people and took 251 hostages. Today, we remember the victims and stand with their families and the survivors. Until Hamas terrorists lay down their arms, they will continue to pose a threat to Israel.

15893From@PrusisWhat happened on Latvia's border must be treated as a very serious security threat. What happens when you lose vigilance is recalled by the Palestinian invasion of Israel on 7 October 2023. The massacre did not mobilize the world to defend borders more firmly and stop illegal migration; instead came a campaign-style demonization of Israel. That is a well-known tactic of aggressors: attack, and then declare the victim guilty. Russia does the same, demonizing both its victims and those who help them defend themselves.

"New Unity" at an extraordinary congress will re-elect the party leadership (8)

From@Kostiantyn1024A math problem for fifth graders. Two ships traveling from Romania (a NATO member) to Turkey (a NATO member) and, conversely, from Turkey (a NATO member) to Romania (a NATO member) were attacked in the exclusive economic zone of Bulgaria (a NATO member). Both ships are owned by Turkish (NATO member) companies. Question: To what extent will NATO member countries express their concern?

From@Gerashchenko_en14-year-old Daniel Umanskyi was killed by a Russian drone on September 25, 2026. His open notebook, with unfinished homework, was left lying on the table. Daniel was writing about the moral code of Volodymyr Monomakh and how unacceptable it is for the strong to hurt the weak. He didn't manage to finish his thought. Deepest condolences. 📹: BBC

Will the new government be "forced" to borrow money again to patch the state budget?
From@JanisIesalnieksOn the day when Latvian authorities declare @rebaltica's "Nazi hunter" @leonidragozin dangerous to Latvia's security and put him on the list of undesirable persons, Re:Baltica, which is always so eager to check the "lies" in what others say, is suspiciously silent. Suddenly nothing to say? 🤥

A little verse had long been composed about Kulberg's “reaction” — “rich he is, but soft of heart, when he hears the poor man's cries, he at once puts his hand in his pocket and pulls out his… little whatsit.” https://t.co/C2dq2tUCF8

From@JanisTereskoZDF story about the detention of Augusts Hanings. The scale of the damage is difficult to estimate, it will also depend on the content of the leaked documents. The question is whether they also contain intelligence information from partner countries, as well as data on agents and information sources. Activity in the Baltics is also mentioned in the story. https://t.co/kV23yK2SZF

From@kr_klavinsA surreal sight - the President of Latvia E. Rinkēvičs receives at Riga Castle people who would gladly put Latvians in cattle cars and send them to die, who want to end the existence of the Republic of Latvia. How much longer will we play democracy with these inhuman people? Rinkēvičs is cowardly and pathetic. https://t.co/Cox3cCCv83

From@zeltmatis1@kr_klavins The president is no good to us. I followed at the time how he fought together with the Russians, and looked for all sorts of pretexts and agreements, just so there would be the chance not to demolish Okupeklis. That was when he was foreign minister. A slimeball. Thanks to Levits and Bordāns.

VIDEO. Why the people voted for those who promise to stop the squandering of state funds
From@Mikipele6So here the AS theatre is revealed, about which I warned already 3 weeks ago. Industry specialists knew from the very beginning that Kulbergs and the business standing behind him never had a real desire to stop this transit, and that is why they were shouting about those fictitious 300% tariffs. https://t.co/JnR3Yznpc2

Andris Kulbergs will have to keep that motley company firmly in hand.
From@pucejWe tried 4 times during the pre-election debates to signal to @AndrisKulbergs that the idea of a “300% tariff” on RU grain railway transit is just a masquerade. In reality, that is what has happened. Grain is still being transported at the old tariff, whose impact on the grain price is negligible in general. And they will keep transporting throughout October, if they continue down this “increased tariff” path of errors. And then the grain to be transported will be over for this year. Next year the carnival will continue. The Prime Minister should remember who exactly suggested this procession.
