@Lato_Lapsa All this, however, is a theater staged by AS, about which I have already written several times here on Twitter. The LDz/LRN officials mentioned by Kulbergs, however, are not suicidal, so that for carrying out an obviously unlawful Cabinet decision, following the LVM example, they would be hit with criminal proceedings and also civil claims from the affected companies.

@vissewalderex There can be no doubt about that, I am talking about a specific transgender person. I have no information about that person.

@MaratQasem Good morning. Stepaņenko is one of the thousands in Latvia who receive €420,000 from the Kremlin. I think you know many such names and surnames.

Investigative journalist. What is her deal with those Russians? Why such love for them? Also Rogozin among friends (now an undisguised Russian propagandist) https://t.co/Jyg3xjNCtp

Armed escorts of illegal immigrants threatened our soldiers NBS soldiers stopped 20 illegal immigrants' attempt to illegally cross our border, but unlike many previous cases this time the provocation was particularly demonstrative and aggressive. The escorts of illegal migrants, who were on the Belarusian side, were armed, made threats to NBS soldiers, and actively urged and drove the group of migrants towards Latvia. A few hours after this conflict, masked people entered Latvian territory, damaged a distribution cabinet and stole cameras before the border guard detail arrived; the persons returned to Belarusian territory. Belarus should understand that such incidents can lead to more serious consequences for Belarus itself.

Thank you to Foreign Minister @Braze_Baiba for the decision to start the process to include 'another Russian citizen' on Latvia's list of undesirable persons. Last week's exchange of words was sharp. Sometimes it must be when it concerns state security. We cannot afford that for many months a situation is not remedied where a person whose messages serve Russia's interests can freely stay and conduct activities in Latvia. Persona non grata is precisely the instrument designed for this. The process has begun. Let's await a prompt result!

😄 Prague has found the perfect use for Putin — printing his face on dog-poop bags The idea came from Czech designer and humorist Tomáš Břímek. Part of the proceeds from the bags goes to support Ukraine through the Dárek pro Putina initiative — “A Gift for Putin.” Keeping the city clean — and the karma clean too.

@ZGKronbergs There is no such obligation.

@kr_klavins However much we may dislike their program, they apparently haven't broken any laws. The President has a constitutional obligation to consult with them as well.

The Progressives and other left-wing forces want to demonize the Latvian nation and take away its heart and essence—the Latvian people. The left and progressives will insult you in various ways if you use this phrase, but Latvia for Latvians.🇱🇻 #nacionalisms #patriots

@ktn_rs Overall, it's not exactly a vale of tears to go hang yourself. More than +5k against -13k is not fatal. We have to keep working, rethink the mistakes, and it will be fine! 👍

I still think we need to investigate why voters crossed out Aivis Ceriņš @CerinsAivis. He is a great Latvian patriot. He serves in the National Guard. He hosts a TV programme, speaks openly and honestly. He looks very good, has a beautiful family (divorced or not, that's another question). He carries out his affairs without murders worthy of crime novels. He says nothing bad about his ex-wife. And as a reward, not many pluses, but minuses. Why?!. I really don't understand this. So Latvians are supposed to cross out people like this? I mean, I still think there is envy and jealousy, from both women and men.

Watching the escalation against Europe happening in the Black Sea and also just now on our border, I am overcome by the feeling that if we do not all together give Russia a sufficiently strong deterrence signal, we will see Masļenki-2. However, both Russia and the allies must understand - this time the opening of the border will not follow.

We tried 4 times during the pre-election debates to signal to @AndrisKulbergs that the idea of a “300% tariff” on RU grain railway transit is just a masquerade. In reality, that is what has happened. Grain is still being transported at the old tariff, whose impact on the grain price is negligible in general. And they will keep transporting throughout October, if they continue down this “increased tariff” path of errors. And then the grain to be transported will be over for this year. Next year the carnival will continue. The Prime Minister should remember who exactly suggested this procession.
