The Ministry of Culture proposes to liquidate the Society Integration Foundation, accusing it of failing to achieve its goals and increasing the presence of the Russian language in Latvia. "Support for the Russian language through SIF will be ended and will never happen again," said the Ministry of Culture's parliamentary secretary Ivars Āboliņš (NA) on the program #ŠodienasJautājums. 🔊 https://t.co/6jhzXn59Of

@RaivisRudzitis I don't like any party, but I have to vote for something, so I have to see which one will do fewer stupid things and can bring at least some reason to that parliament or government.

@JurgisLiepnieks I don't see the point of this poll - how can my second or third choice help these parties get into the Saeima. I understand that you like the place of Latvijas Atīstībai in it, but they have been completely invisible in recent years. A hasty sprint to get a golden ticket is the only logical thing that can be achieved.

Uldis Augulis (ZZS) emphasizes that at the European level there are still no restrictions on transit, such bans would need to be coordinated. Therefore, it has been decided to carry out grain analyses, but if it is found that it was grown in the occupied territories of Ukraine, the respective carrier could face criminal liability.

“United List” supports imposing a 300% tariff on transit from Russia and Belarus, believing that it will work as a ban, as it will make transit unattractive. Meanwhile, “Progressives” and NA call for banning transit.

The Ministry of Health promised that no regional hospital would see its total funding reduced, and the essence of the document adopted by the government is completely different from how regional hospitals have perceived it, says Edgars Tavars.

Dear @Braze_Baiba, thank you for the warm welcome to Riga. 🇭🇺🇱🇻 It was good to finally sit down in person and move straight to concrete work — from regular foreign and security policy consultations to Baltic security, energy and space cooperation. Looking forward to building on today’s discussion.

@JurgisLiepnieks It is worked out, but Kulbergs also acts in exactly the same direction, when he acts rather than talks!

The next government will be able to use the formula for a long time - you know, it will take a long time to fix what was done during Kulbergs' government.

@Azlems is right, but that is the prime minister's responsibility.

@JurgisLiepnieks Well, actually Kulbergs only carelessly brought this matter up, but the lady in the flowery dress took it to total absurdity :) This NA pre-election stunt was definitely stupid.

@daigasbalss and ministers who 99% cannot explain what they have adopted, calculate the consequences, etc., that is an unprecedented catastrophe. And the name of this catastrophe is - Kulbergs' government.

@JurgisLiepnieks I think they 99% cannot explain what they have adopted. They definitely cannot calculate the consequences of their decisions..., this did not suddenly arise in Kulbergs' 4 months... Kulbergs simply finds it convenient to stir up and show it. BUT HE DID NOT CREATE IT - HE SHOWS WHAT IS HAPPENING.
