Ivars Āboliņš (NA): “We propose to liquidate SIF in its current form. The Society Integration Foundation has exhausted itself. We see that it does not achieve its goals. We see the latest data that only 10% of those who speak Russian are ready to defend Latvia. Only 18% of those who speak Russian are for Ukraine, the rest either do not know, or support Russia, or are on no one's side. Therefore, such SIF as it is now cannot exist, it must be liquidated.” #ŠodienasJautājums
Kulberg's government has directly created this specific chaos in the education system right now. If that isn't clearly visible ... well, then nothing... I have nothing to add.
@JurgisLiepnieks I think that 99% of the time they can't explain what they've adopted. They definitely can't calculate the consequences of their decisions... this didn't suddenly arise in Kulberg's 4 months... Kulberg simply finds it convenient to stir it up and show it. BUT HE DIDN'T CREATE IT - HE SHOWS WHAT IS HAPPENING.
The Ministry of Health promised that no regional hospital would see its total funding reduced, and the essence of the document adopted by the government is completely different from how regional hospitals have perceived it, says Edgars Tavars.
Edmunds Jurēvics (JV) emphasizes that the hospital network reform will not be rushed; it will be implemented over four years, also taking into account the state budget possibilities and providing additional funding for regional hospitals. Already next year, an additional 15 million euros will be needed for this.
Well, you may think that way if you know nothing about anything, but if you don't believe me, ask some teacher for their opinion, a school director, a teachers' organization, simply any competent person. And show me a case when ministers cannot explain what they adopted the previous day. That has never happened in Latvia.
Wait, wait, Mr. Liepnieks.. I understand you have some kind of alpha conflict with Mr. Kulbergs - but try to be at least somewhat fair - this chaos has been constant for a long time, Mr. Kulbergs is simply shamelessly demonstrating and showing it now. What has been happening for at least 20 years..

LPV is not against changes, but is against such chaotic work as is currently happening in the coalition; all changes to the education system must be well thought out, says Edmunds Zivtiņš. Minister Indriksone points out to him that LPV deputy Ilze Stobova expressed support for her proposed changes a month ago.
The next government will be able to use the formula for a long time - you know, it will take a long time to fix what was done during Kulbergs' government.

Edmunds Jurēvics (JV) claims that yesterday the government supported introducing a science exam from the 2027/28 academic year, not from this academic year, but both Ilze Indriksone (NA) and Edgars Tavars (AS) oppose this.

💪 @Ivars_Abolins brilliantly showed in @lsmlv broadcast where the real truth lies for the civic alliance @EGrinhofa, which from the state budget managed to spend 600k in a year and in the live broadcast lied that she is not a politician.
Admittedly, not particularly successful.
✅ Her highest career point was attempts to get into Ogre local council in 2021.
The people of Ogre did not appreciate the efforts and crossed her from second place on the list down to sixth.
Clearly, working in an NGO brings in more than in the party @KustibaPar!
