🔹While Nepalese authorities are still searching for Latvian citizens missing in the floods, another group of Latvian travelers has already headed to the disaster-stricken region. What more can the state do about warning people? We'll ask Foreign Minister Baiba Braže (JV). 🔹The August storm showed how closely communications and digital services depend on a stable electricity supply. With Tet CEO Uldis Tatarčuks, we will assess the resilience of Latvia's digital infrastructure and how significant the new DC7 data center will be in it. 🔹Almost half of Latvia's residents admit they do too little to maintain their health. Why doesn't knowledge turn into action? And what exactly needs to change to detect disease risks earlier? We'll ask family doctor Ainis Dzalba.

I did not have such information. Juri, I greatly respect your knowledge of railway systems and evaluate it positively. I think that in most cases we think similarly. Some facts for reflection. Kazakhstan's farmers and their associations have stated that Latvia's transport corridor tariffs are the highest in the Baltics and difficult to compete with. I tasked evaluating the entire chain, including ports, stevedores, railway infrastructure, carrier components, etc. I did not have enough time to find the truth. The same applies to Latvia's domestic freight transport that uses railways; I had concerns about an unclearly designed tariff policy for the entire logistics chain, not just railways. Third. Regarding tariffs at the border, litigation has already been initiated once, so it would be hard to imagine that the mentioned cases would repeat.

@atis_svinka Is it true that during your tenure at the Ministry of Transport, huge railway infrastructure fee discounts were applied to Russian bloody grain shipments, as a result of which they covered only 30-35% of LDz's cost, and the company's losses were covered from taxpayers' pockets?

Most likely they weren't any teenagers. The fact doesn't change - we don't need them here! https://t.co/XlhrPY7ciF

Two North African teens, aged 15 and 16, stabbed 45-year-old Spanish father of two Carles Vilajosana to death in Manresa near Barcelona, as the city’s annual Festa Major celebrations were ending. Vilajosana, a well-known local resident and father of twin children, suffered a fatal stab wound to the chest. Emergency responders tried to save him, but he died at the scene. Manresa declared a day of official mourning, and around 300 people gathered for a minute of silence for Vilajosana.

“I can't shout over them! I'm not at a market, I'm in political debates!” Why is the former prime minister getting whistles from those gathered?

In Latvia, ziedotlv is the only hope for oncology patients, because the Ministry of Health cannot review reimbursable medications for decades! While cancer is treatable in the world, in Latvia it reaps lives every year. But Abu Meri Linda only takes photos! https://t.co/3L73Pmkpjr

@hansa_lv Yes, even when the guy from CSDD was running two hospitals at the same time…

It is interesting that almost no public or journalistic interest is raised by the board and council members of the large university hospitals (now and previously) who have no (or close to no) prior connection to the healthcare field.

Terrible set for a hospital - plumbing and medications…

@AndrisSkride @Aslimnica Just now @MartinsKriekis wrote that Vineta was on the Olainfarm board. The interests here are quite clear...

A little shame is starting to take over, seeing how, in the frontline of bloody grain transit prohibitionists, now all JV and ZZS, and PRO business ethicists have lined up. You had years. Years.

This smells really bad. How did the lady leave RS with clean papers? It was clear they would all be thrown out, because the RS council wasn't doing its job. She left on her own, clean CV, and the next council was already waiting to loaf around for perks. And they tell us simpletons that 2x2=5🙃 well, we'll see… https://t.co/tpAPsIfW2D

This is a mockery of health care. A person without experience in health care is appointed to the board of @Aslimnica, who recently resigned from the board of “Rīgas siltums”. Apparently, from heat supply to hospital management is just one step. Meanwhile, competent industry professionals are filtered out in the competition. Exactly in whose interests was such a competition held?

A striking example of what happens when you connect a primitive summarizer tool (AI summarizer) for generating headlines, but the editor doesn't even re-read the result. The public media has been allocated millions of taxpayers' money - is there really not enough resources for a person to check such automatic wonders?

This autumn, centralized heat energy tariffs will increase in some Latvian municipalities, and the most significant tariff increase will be felt in municipalities that use natural gas, predicted Climate and Energy Minister Jānis Vitenbergs (NA) in the program #ŠodienasJautājums.
