From@_OrbanAnitaActing on my instructions, on Tuesday the relevant official from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed the Russian ambassador to Hungary that, according to the assessment of the Hungarian authorities, 10 members of the Russian mission had engaged in activities in Hungary that are unacceptable for diplomats under the Vienna Convention. The Hungarian side has therefore called on the individuals in question to leave Hungary. This decision protects Hungary’s security and sovereignty. It does not imply breaking off diplomatic relations with Russia. Hungary intends to continue the necessary dialogue, based on mutual respect and adherence to the rules.

Where exactly am I falling? I don't talk anywhere about the specifications of 'Archer', types of ammunition, or which system the Czech Republic, Slovakia, or Switzerland has chosen - that's a discussion I gladly leave to military experts. The story is about something else: about how the Ministry of Defense led by the 'Progressives' has made decisions - whether the NBS recommendations were heard, why two state secretaries left their posts under one minister, and why ammunition for anti-drone systems was forgotten. It's about the management of the sector, not about the technical parameters of a specific howitzer. If you want to discuss the technical advantages of 'Archer' or 'Morana' - go ahead! But that doesn't change the fact that the decision-making process in the ministry has been non-transparent, and that's what this post was about.

From@LV_visiem@KuzminsPavels @VinilaValdis @liana_langa Have never met a Russian who would admit that my grandfather entered Latvia on a tank, killed border guards, killed civilians, raped women and children, participated in the deportation of Latvians to Siberia... all occupiers lie that Latvia has long been. But you can't hide the facts!

From@atis_svinkaOn September 16, a large part of regional bus carriers plan to suspend trips for one day. For people in Latvia's regions, this is not just a dispute between the state and carriers. It is a question of whether they will be able to get to work, school, to the doctor, and return home. An important nuance: the protest is organized by carriers with long-term contracts for 10 years. Meanwhile, the carrier with a 3-year contract, concluded when I was transport minister, will not participate in the protest and will continue to provide trips. This again shows the problems of the 10-year contract model and the cost indexation provided for in it. The state, municipalities, and most importantly, passengers have now become hostages of the situation. @Talis_L, under whose leadership this model was introduced, should admit the mistakes made. But naming responsibility alone is not enough. A solution is needed. In the future, shorter contract terms should be used, allowing the state to respond more flexibly to cost and market changes. The state's involvement in ensuring regional transport services in places where the market itself cannot guarantee a stable service should also be assessed. Regional public transport is not a standard business. It is a state-ordered service for residents, and the state must ensure its continuity and cover reasonable service costs, not provide profit for businesses. Currently, passengers need timely information about which trips will not run on September 16 and what alternatives will be available. For many people in Latvia's regions, the bus is not one of the choices. It is the only way to get where needed.

From@suvajevsThe coalition is imitating actions regarding Russian/Belarusian grain transit. Inspections will take a month and the cargo will already have left. A 300% tariff most likely will not stop this rerouting of cargo through Latvian ports. A clear ban is needed.

Plans to simplify tax payment
@Turksivars I will disagree that Brēmanis is the useful idiot. In my opinion, he perfectly understands what he is doing. Brēmanis has two motivations: - to take revenge on Latvia for the criminal process and expulsion from the diplomatic elite. - working off the monthly foreign payments.
From@TurksivarsYesterday I listened to STABILITĀTI!🤦♂️, my ears started bleeding from that pile of lies! Imagine those ORCS being in the Government! It's similar with Stepaņenko, well Brēmanis is the useful idiot there! To hell with their LV LV, it can only be as a RUSSIAN GOVERNOR!☝️😡😡😡

From@Jauna_Vienotiba💯 100 days in government. 100 days with concrete work for Latvia's defense, health, foreign affairs, and transport. 🇱🇻 Strengthened eastern border and anti-drone defense. 💊 Less to pay for medicines, healthcare preserved in regions, and steps taken for shorter queues. 🇺🇦 Latvia's security priorities in NATO strengthened and continued support for Ukraine. 🚌 Additional funding found for public transport and road repairs in regions. 📈 Strengthened economic security, exports, and Latvia's interests in Europe. ✅ In 100 days much has been done, but there is still more to do. With your trust on October 3, we will continue the work started, so that Latvia is a safer, stronger, and more prosperous country. (1/2)

From@LV_visiem@NaurisPuntulis When will SIF be closed? When will the issue with @chehova_teatris's ugly posters and inscriptions that disgrace Riga be resolved? When will we hear good, clear, correct Latvian on @LRZinas instead of Russian torments of pronunciation so that the public can understand??? These questions are URGENT!
