As heavy rains continue and fields across Latvia have flooded, I urge farmers not to postpone and to report the affected areas in the Rural Support Service's Electronic Application System. https://t.co/eRhcViJeVd

‼️The Ministry of Agriculture calls on farmers to register areas damaged by heavy rains – support will also be maintained in case of damage caused by storms and flooding: https://t.co/HQFgIV12zh https://t.co/RLp6v87HH3

💯 100 days in government. 100 days with concrete work for Latvia's defense, health, foreign affairs, and transport. 🇱🇻 Strengthened eastern border and anti-drone defense. 💊 Less to pay for medicines, healthcare preserved in regions, and steps taken for shorter queues. 🇺🇦 Latvia's security priorities in NATO strengthened and continued support for Ukraine. 🚌 Additional funding found for public transport and road repairs in regions. 📈 Strengthened economic security, exports, and Latvia's interests in Europe. ✅ In 100 days much has been done, but there is still more to do. With your trust on October 3, we will continue the work started, so that Latvia is a safer, stronger, and more prosperous country. (1/2)

@citskovskisj Thanks for the info - good to know. Just don't understand why you choose to support the JV farm club - the hopeless JKP?

Sensing the smell of burning, JV is feverishly pushing its party people into lucrative positions. Tomorrow at the Cabinet meeting they will consider the appointment of the advisor Skrodele to the Liepāja SEZ board, who is an advisor to Transport Minister R. Kozlovskis. For more than 2 years the board managed without a representative from the Ministry of Transport, but now a month before the elections there is such haste. Liepāja SEZ board meetings average once a month, but the salary is about 35k per year. When members of the Cabinet and the NGO Memorandum Council were paid a measly 61 euros for attending meetings, @AndrisKulbergs raised a huge fuss. He called it 'sitting around' and eliminated the compensation. Where is Andris this time? This time he won't eliminate it, because the Liepāja SEZ board also includes their own from the United List. Back in 2024, the State Chancellery prepared amendments to the law to prohibit public officials from combining positions with the Liepāja SEZ and free port boards. We also planned to significantly reduce the remuneration of board members. After lobbyists visited Siliņa, everything was adjusted. After all, one must support one's own.

To help voters make a critical and informed choice in the 15th Saeima elections, Latvian Television offers a series of programs 'Party in Focus' that will provide a comprehensive insight into party programs and their offerings. Based on SKDS public opinion survey data, the series will feature political forces that reached at least 2% support in early August. The third episode focuses on the party 'Stabilitātei!'. #IzvēliesLatvijasNākotni #Vēlēšanas2026

Now the communist is right.

The coalition is imitating actions regarding Russian/Belarusian grain transit. Inspections will take a month and the cargo will already have left. A 300% tariff most likely will not stop this rerouting of cargo through Latvian ports. A clear ban is needed.

In Latvia there is a fattened SIF, which in a quarter century has not been able to either Latvianize Latgale in a wise, specially created program, nor integrate most of the hostile fifth column that threatens us today. At the same time we have museum workers with miserable salaries and a lack of funds for population growth and re-emigration measures. Many transparent issues in the budget spending for the next parliament! #RunāLatviski https://t.co/mvuygcr50h
