From@katrinailjinskaI think everything there is quite obvious. For example, that we won't see any cheaper medicines any more than we see our own ears. Let's look at what a wonderful career some ladies have and what a not-so-great one a certain gentleman has. So: 1) Signe Jantone - a Unity person since she can remember. Back in the time of Unity's Finance Minister A. Vilks, she was head of the minister's office and also a member of the LGA board. How did it end? After the Panorama segment on combining positions, she decided to leave. For the last two years she was Unity's secretary general, and this January she left... where to? To head the Olpha and Repharm Medicine Manufacturers Association, which even has its legal address at the Riga Pharmaceutical Factory, which belongs to Olpha. 2) Vineta Kutkēviča... her career before Riga Heat is more varied, but her CV under education has a noteworthy entry: 'Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance (BICG) professional board member'. The Count's office, as is known. After the conflict of interest, of course, RAKUS - the best place. 3) But then we had Normunds Staņēvičs, whose ousting from the hospital, according to @AndrisKulbergs's own words at our Inc. club event, is the worst example in state administration, essentially saying: 'don't mess in our garden'. So what exactly was Staņēvičs 'let go' for? As far as I know, for shortening one markup stage in the procurement of cancer drugs, where Recipe has an 80% market share. Isn't that so?

“Enthusiasm alone is not enough” – minister warns of deep salary crisis in the cultural sector 0 1
@KStokmanis @raudseps The fact that there was a picket does not in any way mean that the majority supports SK. It only means that there is a bunch of far-left radicals.
From@KStokmanis@zuravlevs @raudseps More people supported SK in life than your religious fanatics' little group. That is a fact.

@karlis_serzants @AndrisKivics @AndrisKulbergs No favoritism was found. The husband's company won procurements long before taking the position. The industry is specific, not many competitors. But conflict of interest risks theoretically existed, the council decided to terminate the employment relationship. Even State Audit representatives praised V.K.'s competence.
From@karlis_serzantsRemember Vineta Kutkeviča, former member of the Rīgas siltums council. Kulbergs' investigative committee found that her husband's company has been very successful in RS procurement and she left her post… to end up on the RAKUS council. @AndrisKulbergs when will this nightmare actually end?

Money and PR: How the aggressor country Russia finds leverage in international sports
In connection with Russia's bloody grains, the Saeima parties have once again looked into the "Austošā Saule Latvijai" program. Just like underachieving students who copy from an excellent student and make only cosmetic corrections, they are now making announcements about "tariffs" and trade restrictions. I am deliberately not counting, but this is at least the seventh or eighth time that the ruling parties have borrowed ideas from ASL. Do not vote for weak imitations - vote for the original! "Austošā Saule Latvijai" - list No. 12. Uncomfortable for the authorities - needed for Latvia!
From@AndrisVelpsProgressives are a pro-Russian party - more polished than Šlesers, but they are.

@KaijaSkujina No, of course. But they have established a party in accordance with all laws and regulations, and freedom of speech has not yet been struck out of the Constitution.
From@KaijaSkujina@Lato_Lapsa do you really think that Stabilitātei! is a state party? Is that normal what they are blabbing there?

One of the strange ideas of debate organizers is that debates intended for young people should only involve young people, women's issues only women, etc. This is building leftism and division of society into the very rules, into the understanding of politics. So that each social group thinks only about itself, only within its own system, only from its own experience. Politics differs from activism precisely in that in it a person steps out of the personal and strives to grasp the general — the whole field, where the selfish interests and self-identification of various groups must be reconciled for coexistence. In politics, one cannot loudly declare that funding in sector x should be increased to whatever percentage of GDP without saying in which specific sector that funding percentage should be reduced. Increasing funding and devising support programs is not politics. Support programs are mostly feeding grounds and the destruction of civil society. A young person who discusses politics 'from a youth perspective' still does not understand politics. It can divide, but the result is not better politics. The result is the fragmentation of society into prime factors, each of which only shouts about its own cause and ignores everything else. In compiling the program of 'We Change the Rules,' the biggest challenge was to suppress this. Because we are a right-wing party. And if you read our program, you will find no, absolutely no dream jellies.
Jānis Karlsbergs: “The feeling of security can be easily lost. We have seen these waves in Latvia from time to time. We are aware that most often they are targeted operations to influence our balance. [..] I have no reason to doubt our great ally the USA, but it is absolutely clear that especially against such a criminal, terrorist state as Russia, Europe has completely sufficient forces to deal with it ourselves.”

Look, voters of @Apvienotais_ who care so much about the country, how @AndrisKulbergs will act today at the government meeting. Something will become clearer.
From@citskovskisjSmelling the burning smell, JV is feverishly pushing its party people into profitable positions. Tomorrow at the Cabinet meeting, they will consider the appointment of the transport minister R. Kozlovskis's advisor Skrodele to the Liepāja SEZ board. For more than 2 years the board could do without a Ministry of Transport representative, but now a month before the elections such haste. Liepāja SEZ board meetings average once a month, but the salary is around 35k per year. When the Cabinet and NGO Memorandum Council members were paid a measly 61 euros for attending a meeting, @AndrisKulbergs raised a huge fuss. He called it "sitting around" and eliminated the remuneration. Where is Andris this time? This time he won't eliminate it, because on the Liepāja SEZ board there are also his own from the United List. Back in 2024, the State Chancellery prepared amendments to the law to prohibit public officials from combining positions with the Liepāja SEZ and free port boards. We also planned to significantly reduce board member salaries. After lobbyists visited Siliņa, everything was adjusted. After all, one must support one's own.
