From@GDubkevicsToday we decided on additional security measures regarding the incident at the preschool “Riekstiņš”. However, opinions on responsibility differ, so I also shared my feelings! 🙏 Read more about the decision here: https://t.co/YCNL9nYgji https://t.co/l1SrBZjMnA

Somehow I haven't heard you complaining about the successes of far-left parties. Far-left parties, among other things, have killed more people than far-right ones. Nazis are national socialists, i.e., far-left. Where are the complaints about the progressives in Latvia? https://t.co/D077sEBbfM
From@PStrautinsSpeaking of German news. The words 'undemocratic election outcome' are an oxymoron. But the words 'a democratic election outcome can lead to the end of democracy' are NOT an oxymoron. Moreover, not only the end of democracy, but also of architectural heritage, existing borders, and people's lives. History has something to say about that.

Then it turns out that Kulberg's government wants Russian grain to be transported via Latvia's railway, whose exports fill Russia's budget and allow financing the war against Ukraine. The main thing is that Latvia gets paid considerably more for this transit. Then everything is ok, in the government's mind.

From@kr_klavinsRussia is trying to occupy Ukraine, killing Ukrainians, and threatens to occupy Latvia as well. Meanwhile, the children of Russian occupiers are being put on Latvian Radio to address Latvians in a terrible Russian accent, to remind who is in charge here. During the German attack, the BBC did not speak with a German accent. https://t.co/0X6IaV7iR5

Kulbergs wants to ensure that all Baltic states triple tariffs on Russian grain transit.
Remember Vineta Kutkeviča, former member of the Rīgas siltums council. Kulbergs' investigative committee found that her husband's company has been very successful in RS procurement and she left her post… to end up on the RAKUS council. @AndrisKulbergs when will this nightmare actually end?
From@andrislovWhen state television sends a correspondent to stand on a street in Washington to retell what happened yesterday in Kyiv, that is no longer a news service, it is theater. Expensive, self-satisfied and completely unnecessary. If it were their money, they would sit in a studio in Riga. Since the money is ours, they stand in Washington and call it a presence in the world. The Unity propaganda office must be shut down.

From@ImantsViksneA small victory of work. The majority of the Media Ethics Council recognized that in my articles I may call the pro-Kremlin 'Suverēnā vara' pro-Kremlin. Only Delfi's Spalvēns thought I couldn't. 🧐

From@3suncesMorning, as usual, started with LR news. This time LR2. And it made me think – 10 years since I've been in Latvia, but the language.... is there really no Latvian who could read the news? Without an accent, in correct and pure Latvian. Or maybe the language has changed so much in these 10 years?

From@jaunupsOooooo! The one who dragged ZZS into the government has woken up. He drew red lines against Lembergs and ZZS so much that he got tangled and ended up in Lembergs' lap, just to be able to receive a salary in the government. It cost the state dearly - Sprūds' sabotage at the Ministry of Defence and Briškens/Švinka's disaster at the Ministry of Transport. And they didn't want to leave so much that they literally had to be thrown out. Now they are moralizing and drawing lines again. Draw them around yourselves :))

From@Apvienotais_🎙️ Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs on Latvian Radio 1 program “Krustpunktā” about the state budget, economic growth, security, and the future of Rail Baltica. “There will be no miracles. Before promising new benefits, we must answer how to cover the existing budget deficit and how to make Latvia earn more.” The previous government has prepared a budget with a shortfall of 238 million euros next year, and by 2030 this shortfall could grow to 1.3 billion euros. Andris Kulbergs emphasizes that the solution is not raising taxes, but reviewing state expenditures and economic growth. 🎧 Listen to the full conversation on Latvian Radio 1 program “Krustpunktā”: https://t.co/5lVfqZo47g #AndrisKulbergs #Krustpunktā #LatvijasRadio #APVIENOTAISSARAKSTS #MumsIrRisinājums #KulbergsIrRisinājums #LatvijaMumsIrRisinājums #7Saraksts #SaeimasVēlēšanas2026
