🍄 All the “old parties” tell how terribly bad decisions were made when they themselves were not ministers, high-ranking officials, and simple procurement committee decision-makers. 😂 Everyone had forgotten that there is such a thing as the Whistleblower Protection Law. Sorry, it is supervised by KNAB. Goodness, everyone understood that it is pointless. 🏛️ Don't be surprised if the state is in a hole. Vote for MMM on October 3! 🇱🇻☮️

For a Russian it's always bad, but still he crawls to Latvia, buys property here, in this 'Nazi' Latvia. He hopes that Latvia will become Russian Latvia - a convenient, Russified environment for living, special for Russians! And these eternally aggrieved ones also complain all the time.... Their complaints are willingly listened to and amplified by Russian media! #AtkrieviskoLatviju

The Finance Minister now says that the state budget is actually performing well and there is no reason to worry. Just a few months ago, politicians from the United List, while in opposition, were frightening with an apocalypse. Now that they have entered government, the rhetoric has changed. Now everything is fine, an urgent 800 million budget cut is not necessary. There is no longer any haste, it is September, but the finance minister and the prime minister have not even started preparing the budget in the government. Until now, the government always prepared a technical budget before elections, so that the next government could adjust it according to political reality after the elections. But now it looks like the new government will have to prepare the budget from scratch after the elections, and most likely we will live with the 2026 budget for some time in 2027 as well.

Responsible politics means not only talking about growth, but also making the decisions necessary for it. They can be improved, but cannot be postponed indefinitely. https://t.co/3JvPdumRro

Bill Clinton: "WE forced Ukraine to give up nuclear weapons, cruise missiles and strategic bombers, WE promised to protect Ukraine from Russia, WE made Ukraine vulnerable. So yes, this is OUR war." When the US President speaks, not a swindler-developer from Manhattan.

A good test for Trump is whether he'll conveniently ignore this report from Politico. The "mega-sanctions" bill could hit China for directly supporting Russia, but of course it's still not passed by lawmakers. But even existing legislation should ensure sanctions on Beijing. https://t.co/aQv0HdbUlJ

The acquisition of the “Archer” wheeled artillery system – a thoroughly evaluated and justified choice. The decision on this type of procurement was made by a council consisting of the Ministry of Defence and the leadership and specialists of the National Armed Forces. When such purchases were approved in the government in January 2026, the choice was presented and justified by NBS representatives. First, the choice was made between the Swedish system “Archer,” which has been tested and proven in combat in Ukraine, and the alternative Czech “Morana,” which, although cheaper, existed only at the prototype level. Other systems, such as the French “Caesar” chosen by Lithuania, Estonia, and also the Czech Republic, were rejected by the NBS. Second, speed of delivery was one of the important selection criteria. An agreement has been reached that still this year – while the Swedish manufacturer would fulfil Latvia's order – a temporary and practically equivalent solution provided by the manufacturer would be used and training would be carried out together with Swedish soldiers. Third, Sweden is a strategic ally of Latvia in the security field, whose military industry manufacturers have an impeccable reputation. The presence of the Swedish battalion is an important contribution to our security. In January, a roadmap for interstate defence cooperation was signed, which should further strengthen Sweden's presence in Latvia – in the air, at sea and on land, as well as defence industry cooperation. Therefore, the expressed criticism about the acquisition of the combat-tested wheeled artillery system “Archer” is clearly to be assessed as an inability to bring the initiated progress to a result important for our security.

Nothing new! We are currently at the stage Western Europe was in the early 2000s, but here these processes are moving much faster. The safety of children's playgrounds and the peace of our families are non-negotiable. If we don't act immediately, we will reach the crime levels of third countries in an instant. Immigration should not be "controlled" with paperwork - it must be stopped! On October 3, vote for "Austošā Saule Latvijai"!
