The intrigue-filled series of government formation has begun. The main heroine is ex-communist Braže, who weaves intrigues in hopes of keeping the minister's seat. It is clear to everyone that Braže's time as Minister of Foreign Affairs @Arlietas is over. Given the complete failure of the foreign affairs sector in absolutely all matters, it is time for change and new blood. Braže, meanwhile, hopes for the post of defense minister, and that would already be comparable to the Sprūds era in the defense sector. Needless to say, persons who collaborated with the KGB in Soviet times and held high positions in the Komsomol MUST NOT hold the post of defense minister. Braže's career in the nineties was built by KGB plants Neilands and Birkavs. We still cannot get rid of Soviet times in Latvia's foreign policy and defense.

@ivchix @SatoriLV @pucej I am talking about Satori's own professionalism, not my candidacy, my diploma or my previous occupation. Clearly biased, an exemplar of short-sighted thinking. It isn't about Kulbergs, but about the development of thought as such. I read Satori, and overall I like it.

@CerinsAivis @SatoriLV @pucej I simply wanted to understand what profession you were talking about. It wasn't rhetorical.

A real step to reduce bureaucracy – at my proposal, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to abandon the separate Public Benefit Commission. From now on, the evaluation of organizations will be fully carried out only by @vid_gov, which already now collects and analyses the information needed for decision-making.

@lastguru_net @AndrisKulbergs EM functions/departments can be redistributed among VARAM, KEM, ĀM, TM.

Interesting, which 3 ministries @AndrisKulbergs wants to liquidate. Yesterday I spent a bit of time with ministry functions, and primarily I came up with two to liquidate: KM and VARAM. If VSAA oversight is moved to FM, of course one could also try to liquidate LM. If creating one super-ministry doesn't bother, SM functions can be given back to EM. I know, I know, many want to liquidate KEM, but that would be a mistake. Compared to the Frankenstein ministry VARAM, it is currently a very logical ministry where additional functions can be moved. What should be liquidated is precisely VARAM.

We must continue implementing the plan to restrict immigration. Education and culture are also important to us, as well as more effective public administration and economic growth, including our proposal to create a unified Ministry of National Economy. We are currently awaiting the offer from AS and A. Kulbergs. https://t.co/LtmQWLVMfn

A rhetorical question or a question motivated by stupidity?

From the profession “candidate” side or from what?

On October 4, the State Police received a report in Riga where store employees said a man had entered the premises, started a conflict with a security guard, disturbed store visitors and staff, and had an object resembling a weapon with him. State Police officers arrived at the scene, determined the man's residence, and soon detained him. The man, born in 1977, was under the influence of 3.71 per mille alcohol at the time of detention. https://t.co/FZtQGQf60g
