From@JurgisLiepnieksContinuing like this, Kulbergs will in record short time achieve that after the elections his candidacy for prime minister will no longer be relevant, even if AS becomes the winner. Which political force will want to work with such a leader?

16788From@janisdombravaIn the coming days, a comprehensive immigration restriction plan must be adopted that will stop the possibility of mass legalization of immigrants from Asia and Africa who enter under the guise of 'foreign student', 'employee', etc. Certain economic groups will not like this very much; they may try to put obstacles to delay and prevent this plan, but this is a question of the long-term survival of our nation, so that our nation is not replaced by immigrants. This issue is fundamental. I will advocate for the creation of a strict immigration policy! Latvia must make decisions where the priority is the long-term security interests of the nation, not the desire of certain individuals to profit at the expense of security.

The Latvian National Cultural Center has prepared an informational report on continuing the reform of the financing procedure for the remuneration of artistic collective leaders and on evaluating the proposed solution. At the Song and Dance Festival, outstanding skills and technical quality are demonstrated in every artistic or folklore cultural genre, and a unified spirit of Latvian traditions and national cohesion is maintained. For these festivals to continue in all art forms and across generations, it is extremely important for the state to take responsibility for their proper succession. 🔗More here: https://t.co/Hpr02X9kiu
⚠️ Why did Latvian Radio and Latvian Television news services NOT work in crisis mode during and after the storm? Just now, a SEPLP representative explained to Saeima deputies in a presentation that they followed the letter of the law — neither President Rinkēvičs, nor Prime Minister Kulbergs, nor Cabinet ministers had declared a state of emergency. Therefore, the radio and television program was not changed or adapted to the real crisis situation. While people were left without electricity, communications, and necessary information, public media continued their regular programming. Bureaucracy had NO CRISIS SITUATION — so everything was fine on air! Fantastic state administration logic: we don't declare a state of emergency and then announce that there was no reason to work in crisis mode.
@MellersMd @VKleinbergs @Progresivie @KNABinforme @kottello What other Riga development alliance??
From@MellersMdPerfectly organized mobility point. Great goat! @KNABinforme when will a case be initiated against this @kottello, for conflict of interest. Works in 2 opposite fields. Riga Development Alliance and RD deputy. Complete theft of RD money in broad daylight. Prison.! https://t.co/Yqltm4NPFM

We are all judged by others according to their own understanding. Kulbergs' situation is nothing special. He is a politician, a prime minister, who for years sharply criticized the previous prime minister and ministers. Then he energetically and convincingly promised to decide, solve, work. Now people are disappointed that they believed, because there is nothing of what was expected and promised. That's normal.
From@GSkangale@JurgisLiepnieks It's not easy for Kulbergs, a person whom everyone judges according to their own understanding. Leading and ruling a political coalition is not simple. Criticizing the leader is even easier. Let's be more understanding! Let's be evaluators, but not Latvia's destroyers! Have a nice day everyone!

From@RKruminLithuania's curve clearly shows the 2016 effect, when they sharply reduced labor taxes and thereafter the number of legally employed people grew steadily, with a decline during Covid, while GDP has doubled since then. LV continues not to reduce labor taxes, and the economy is stagnating. https://t.co/W1mJffkM7t

@MaratQasem As a voter of Šlesers, you and I could compare who looks how, how much grey matter each has in their brain, and so on. However, that is a rhetorical offer, because everyone always changes their mind, I already have a whole list, from bloggers to ministers.
From@maratqasem🔥 Šlesers' right-hand man showed up to the TV debate in adidas track pants and started filming the proceedings with his phone. Security escorted him out of the “Rīgas cirks” venue. 🤡 The blogger Leonīds Lomza, associated with Šlesers, came to support LPV at the debate in three-stripe training pants. 🎥 It would have gone unnoticed if Lomza hadn't started filming, which is categorically forbidden by the event's internal rules. 📺 In the end, TV security ejected Leonīds from the “Rīgas cirks” premises where it all happened, and he appeared before those around him as a simple guy from Ķengarags, as his boss Šlesers sometimes calls himself. 🤷🏻♂️ My conclusion about which political force this character represents, who demonstrated his level of culture, was based on publicly available sources. This summer, during the pre-election campaign in Riga, the oligarch gave Leonīds instructions. 🫵 Among other things, Ainārs said: “I'll come, but you work here for now.” Lomza's social media is also full of photos with LPV politicians. 🤦🏻♂️ Overall, there's nothing surprising here. This is exactly what Šlesers' voter looks like — an uneducated, resentful marginal who moves around the city in a shirt and adidas track pants. 😱 What surprises me is something else: why didn't Leonīds start eating sunflower seeds in the spectator stands during the debate? Apparently he held back thanks to iron willpower! ❓ What do you think — is Šlesers proud of such a bright representative of his electorate? Or does he not care at all whose votes get him to the trough? 📝 Let's discuss in the comments. #Elections #Šlesers #debates #LPV #urla

“One of the former directors, who knew old Hermanis and his family well, just told me that the young Hermanis in his life has hardly ever dug a shovel into the ground with his own hands…” How common this creature turns out to be. https://t.co/3jRfLpuO6o
From@AlvisHermanis1One of the former prime ministers, who knew the old Kulbergs and his family well, just told me that the young Kulbergs has hardly read a single book in his life. Of course, the garage boss could theoretically run the country too, but at this critical moment we need leaders who act decisively against: 1. immigration and 2. bureaucracy. Without wavering. Who are not dependent on the old system, on all that political-economic swamp created during Šķēle's time that still holds the entire Latvian nation hostage.

@olimpietis2 What difference does it make where he sat, if on social networks he agitates for Šlesers and works in his favor, which my video also confirms? I cannot agree with you on this issue, sorry. https://t.co/TGhNEI5rPb
From@olimpietis2@MaratQasem First, he came to the Saskaņa support group, not LPV. And they kicked him out not for filming, but for live TikTok filming. All parties could film material for themselves there if they wanted.

@cepum_s @JelgavaLV @rusantro Ruslans already said everything. I will also mention that currently design works are actively underway for both the mobility point and the multi-storey car park.
From@cepum_sSo @JelgavaLV @martinsstals @rusantro is there any solution, offer?! Because it's a bit stupid, no, that one could go by train, but if there's nowhere to leave the car, then one has to go by car. And I don't believe that all those people went to Riga by train. https://t.co/nWlBCHPtMi

No one is braking the review of the immigration issue in the government, but it is expected that it will be done qualitatively, Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs (AS) said in an interview on “Rīta Panorāma”. “If we really want to sort out this issue, Friday is the place to do it,” the Prime Minister said.
@yukabrother After Kulbergs' viģika no. 68, I no longer agree with that. If a person openly stands against fighting immigration and bureaucracy, then he is dangerous to the Latvian state and that must be said directly and openly.
From@yukabrother@AlvisHermanis1 Don't mumble and don't insult Kulbergs and his family whom you don't even know but I do. Whatever, he reads a lot! Don't mix political life with private life!
