Let's go - we cooperate. We can start with already prepared draft laws that are still gathering dust in the drawers of the Saeima parties. https://t.co/dO8g7UJfye You can safely copy our anti-migration plan, so we don't have to just fight the consequences of Kulberg's government. https://t.co/6ZPX462phN In short - broad cooperation opportunities. Just need to do it. But probably won't be without us...

@zvejniekameita @Fio777 @0808Iveta @akmens @austsaule I don't object. But sometimes I would like to hear from both sides - @VL_TBLNNK and @austsaule - what actually is the reason why they don't cooperate. A nationally-minded voter should know the explanation in order to decide which party to vote for.

🟩 A joke from the depths of the internet, but as in any good joke, there is a grain of truth there. 🙂 Progresīvie are supposedly ZZS's grandchildren. Looking at the campaign, the family resemblance is indeed visible - the green shirts are the same, only the logo is different, so relatives don't get confused. 😄 https://t.co/uctog2CfWz

What surprised me most in the conversation with @VJOjauniesi? They are not afraid to ask uncomfortable questions and fully understand that democracy cannot be taken for granted. We talked about honest elections and security. Young people can clearly distinguish populist claims about 'stolen elections' when they simply dislike the result from a real security threat to the election process. I must say that during the pre-election period this is a very important distinction that we all must be able to see. We also talked about journalism – about clickbait headlines, the amount of information, and why quality and deeper analysis are so necessary today. Such conversations are very valuable. I am glad to see young people who not only listen but ask, question, and want to understand for themselves. It is precisely with such critical thinking that a strong democracy begins.

I spoke with Nepal's Foreign Minister @shisir Khanal, expressing condolences for the lives lost in the floods. We discussed possible support for Latvian nationals who survived and their relatives. We are grateful for the efforts of Nepal's services in rescuing the victims. https://t.co/O1AgFulDQa

✅ DONE Today Latvia received the first payment of €524.7 million from the European Commission under the #SAFE loan of €3.5 billion to strengthen defense capabilities. Europe continues to support member states in defense, thereby increasing security in the region and the European Union as a whole. 🇱🇻🇪🇺

@insomniaanna @saatciane @miks_eu Your views contradict the Constitution, because it allows only Latvian culture and does not allow Indians to stay here. And the Progressives are stateless people, not Latvians or part of the Latvian nation.

@zuravlevs @saatciane @miks_eu You see a speck in another's eye, but do not see the log in your own. I am part of the Latvian nation, and I have no objection to what another nation celebrates in Latvia. Why do you think your opinion is more valid, given that all it achieves is dehumanizing others?

@insomniaanna @saatciane @miks_eu Irēna did not write that Indians are animals, but the progressives clearly said that they consider Latvians to be animals. So by your own logic, the progressives are at the level of Putin and Hitler.

How does collective stupidity work? Now and then. Unchanged. Back then it was like this. Once the Police Academy was liquidated. As a result, investigators no longer received further education in pre-trial investigation on current challenges. The State Audit Office warned for years - Latvia's pre-trial investigation is being sunk by investigators' lack of professional qualifications and practical skills. Then came informative reports, the Kariņš government listened to recommendations, added prosecutors' wishes and created ... actually another legal education program, starting with ancient Greek philosophers and going through a full jurisprudence course. The state made a program called 'Pre-trial Investigation'. What does it teach? Philosophy of law and sociology. History of Latvian law. Constitutional law. Private law. Commercial law. Resolution of private law disputes. International and EU law. Nothing that addresses the problems the course was created for. Then, amid the construction cartel winds, they added that a training building worth 20 million must be built from non-existent money. As a result of institutional stupidity, they created a product, a course that did not solve the initial goal. Neither do investigators have time to attend a full master's program during working hours, nor does it solve the initial problem. Of 15 students, only 2 graduated. Now? Now they are advancing the Sports Fund. The initial idea was to attract private money to sports. Nice! Now? The initial idea has long disappeared. The idea in the Saeima has transformed away from the goal (there will be no private money), away from any sense. There was also such a point - to give money to sports so that they don't ask every year from funds for unforeseen circumstances (LNG). That too has disappeared. In fact, professional sports funding will come under the Olympic Committee. The fat cats will get more money, but grassroots and youth sports remain out in the cold. Meanwhile, requests from LNG to fund various bridges have not disappeared, they come to the Finance Ministry every week. I've long wanted to vomit. The Sports Fund freak continues its progress in the Saeima. Institutional stupidity.

@karlis_serzants @Apvienotais_ Which party has the justice minister? What exactly legal steps has @EdvardsSmiltens taken to find out why the process is dragging, and to ensure it doesn't drag?

@Lato_Lapsa @Apvienotais_ This is my absolutely personal opinion, Lato! Thieves should sit in prison regardless of party affiliation, and in this case a very simple court process has been dragging on for the seventh year…
