From@LieneCipuleOn readiness for crises and reproaches... We ALL must reassess this challenge! 72h individual readiness is almost nothing, if hysteria starts already after 2h... No water, phones have to be charged in cars, we’re almost starving because shops are closed, pharmacy is needed, and so on, where is VUGD with a saw... We must manage on our own for 72h!

@RolandsIrklis @Labanovskis One meter - 1000 euros? I would gladly understand how such costs arise, unless that cable has silver or gold strands…
From@RolandsIrklis@Labanovskis @karlis_serzants One km of transmission cable underground is approximately 1 million EUR. Our network is more than 5000 km. We do this only in densely populated areas just like transmission operators elsewhere.

From@RKiesewetterThe Russian House is not a cultural institute but a hub for disinformation, espionage and intelligence activities. For this reason, in view of the safety of our citizens, it is not acceptable to keep this house open. It is also questionable who the people living there are. The Russian House must be closed immediately!

From@andrii_sybihaToday, Russia once again struck a civilian facility in the Sumy region belonging to Mondelēz International, a world-renowned American multinational corporation. Two Russian drone strikes damaged the plant's premises and injured several employees. Fortunately, there were no casualties. These systematic and deliberate Russian attacks on American business interests in Ukraine demonstrate that Russian aggression is not only a threat to Ukraine, but a direct blow to American economic interests in Europe. Our strategy to counter these threats remains clear: increase military support for Ukraine—particularly by strengthening air defense capabilities—and exert maximum pressure on Moscow to end this war, including through the passage of the late Senator Graham’s Sanctioning Russia Act.

From@visegrad24Sweden’s leftist Social Democrats are campaigning in Arabic ahead of the September 13 general election, as the party seeks support from the country’s large immigrant communities. The Arabic-language outreach comes after decades of immigration dramatically changed Sweden’s demographics. Official figures show that 2.94 million people or 28% of Sweden’s population now have a foreign background. The country is home to large communities originating from Arabic-speaking countries, particularly Syria and Iraq. A new poll puts the left-wing opposition at 53.9%, compared with 43.9% for Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson’s governing right-wing bloc. Magdalena Andersson’s Social Democrats are by far the largest individual party in the poll, at 30.5%.

The Progressives are fighting for this! Women, they have never cared about your safety or self-determination. Contrary to propaganda, it is conservative men who stand up the most for women's freedom and safety.
From@visegrad24Female genital mutilation is affecting tens of thousands of women in France, with a study estimating that 7.2% of women aged 18–45 in Seine-Saint-Denis, the heavily multicultural department surrounding northeastern Paris, have undergone the practice. That represents roughly 22,500 women in Seine-Saint-Denis alone, while the upper range of the study's estimate approaches 10%, potentially as many as one in ten women in the age group. The prevalence is dramatically higher among women originating from countries where FGM remains widespread. Around 24% of women studied in Seine-Saint-Denis came from high-prevalence countries, particularly Mali, Ivory Coast, Senegal and Guinea, and roughly 30% of women in this group had undergone FGM. Across France, estimates suggest between 125,000 and 139,000 women are living with the consequences of genital mutilation. French authorities have also documented cases involving girls raised in France being taken to their families' countries of origin during vacations and returning after undergoing FGM. The practice is illegal in France and can be prosecuted even when performed abroad on minors living in the country. It can cause severe bleeding, infections and even death, as well as lifelong chronic pain, sexual problems, complications during pregnancy and childbirth, and psychological trauma.
